The supreme yoga of accomplishing the benefit of others is profound. It is the clear light of the true Bodhicitta. Cultivating that clear light into being without obscurations is to hold the profound manifestation Samadhi of the true Bodhicitta. In the Sutra on Generating the Mind of Enlightenment, the Bodhisattva Light Protector asked: How does one generate the Mind of Enlightenment? The response: Light Protector, all phenomena are without characteristics like the sky, and are primordially clear and utterly pure; this is called Enlightenment. In accordance with this, generating the precious mind that has not been generated before is called generating the Mind of Enlightenment. This is the meaning of what was said. Therefore, the nature of mind is clear light, the true Bodhicitta yoga, the essence of the six branches, this Samadhi called Profound Manifestation, completely pacifies all the sufferings of samsara, such as the lower realms, birth, old age, sickness, and death. Having obtained this Samadhi, it cannot be burned by fire, it cannot be drowned by water, it cannot be harmed by poison, it cannot be harmed by mineral poison, it cannot be harmed by mixed poison, it cannot be harmed by weapons, it cannot be harmed by curses, it cannot be seized, it cannot be bound, it cannot be cut by sharp instruments, it cannot be beheaded, it cannot be oppressed, it cannot be burned, it will not fall into the hands of enemies. Therefore, those who desire all suffering and faults to cease, those who desire to obtain all happiness and qualities, and those who desire to perfect both their own and others' benefit, should practice this Samadhi alone. Why is that? Because relying on this Samadhi alone, all Bodhisattvas also transcend perversion and reach the far shore of great Nirvana. Also, relying on this Samadhi alone, all Buddhas of the three times also manifestly and completely awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete Enlightenment. Because it is so, there is nothing more important than practicing this Samadhi, not even as much as a hair's tip. Therefore, abandoning all worldly affairs, without regard for body and life, one should meditate like the Bodhisattva Sadāprarudita and the great Jetsun Milarepa. The noble Nagarjuna revealed the Samadhi by praising the

When the body becomes withered, This yoga that satisfies body, speech, and mind, Should be practiced. And, If the head or clothes suddenly catch fire, Even abandoning extinguishing those, One should strive for the method of having no future life. Therefore, there is no other need more supreme than this. And, One cannot exhaust the limits of karma by acting, Do not abandon the beginning of samsara, hope for the present moment. After finishing worldly affairs, one does not go to practice Dharma, Whenever one remembers, one hopes for that one chance. And, In the "Two Examinations" it says: Like the flow of a river rushing rapidly, Like the tip of a lamp flame being tightly bound, With the yoga of constant wearing, Day and night, remain in equipoise. And, In the "Entering the Bodhisattva's Way" it says: Like carrying a vessel filled with mustard oil, With a sword-wielding person standing guard, Like fearing to kill if it breaks, The wise should always be so vigilant. As it is said, one should strive very hard and practice the samadhi of the six-limbed yoga with intense diligence. This profound instruction, except for transmitting it to others, being able to benefit others, and those who have practiced this Dharma for many years continuously, do not allow others to use it.
