Earthly afflictions are like illusions of appearance and emptiness. Ultimate truth is like illusions of pure appearance and emptiness. Conventional truth is like illusions of samsara's appearance and emptiness. Ultimate truth is like illusions of nirvana's appearance and emptiness. Conventional truth is like illusions of grasping and being grasped, appearance and emptiness. Ultimate truth is like illusions of non-dual wisdom, appearance and emptiness. Conventional truth is like illusions of imputation and dependence, appearance and emptiness. Ultimate truth is like illusions of perfect reality, appearance and emptiness. Conventional truth is like illusions of suffering and its origin, appearance and emptiness. Ultimate truth is like illusions of cessation and the path, appearance and emptiness. Similarly, both truths should be understood as being like dreams and reflections, and so on. Furthermore, when explaining the union of appearance and emptiness in ultimate truth, the *Jnana Vajra Samucchaya Tantra* states: 'Then, the Tathagatas in fields as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River are like illusions, like moons in water, like double vision, like mirages, like dreams, like musical instruments, like cities of gandharvas, like magical illusions, like rainbows, like lightning, like bubbles, and like reflections in a mirror. These twelve examples of illusion closely represent the manner of the great bliss samadhi.' The noble Nagarjuna said: 'Whatever objects a yogi contemplates, he should regard them as being like illusions. Whoever sees reflections in a mirror, dreams, illusions, bubbles, and double vision as being similar, is said to be the chief. Seeing and touching, beings are just like illusions. Conventional truth is without an object, and is thoroughly explained as being like an illusion.' Therefore, since the appearance of ultimate truth and the emptiness of conventional objects are united, the union of appearance and emptiness in ultimate truth is like dreams and so on. Since the appearance of conventional truth and the emptiness of reality are united, the union of appearance and emptiness in conventional truth is like dreams and so on. After that, although the two truths are no different, like dreams and so on, the objects of conventional truth do not appear as illusions, and the minds of conventional truth do not perceive them as illusions. Although they are not true, they are mistaken and deceived by clinging to them as true. The seed of obscuration, one air passage is blocked, the realm of ultimate truth.

Appearing like an illusion, and with the wisdom of ultimate truth, also recognizing it as an illusion, one attains a samadhi free from attachment to anything, and filled with abundant bliss, filling the sky. Thus, all the activities and enlightened actions of the Dharmakaya are the manifestations of the alaya-jnana, the self-appearance of the Mahamudra, the self-nature of the Mahayana, the experience of the Great Madhyamaka, the magical display of the Tathagatagarbha, the profound waves of Other-Emptiness, the play of the luminous Dharmakaya, which is the samadhi called Profound Appearance of the Prajnaparamita. Therefore, all the great sound of activity, the great expanse of activity, and the great pervasiveness of activity should be recognized as the ultimate mind. Recognizing that very thing as a quality.
