那命根啊，施予自身乃是慈悲。如所说之法般修持，一切自性皆生安乐。甚深之道乃是上师之侍奉，于所说之三种侍奉中，供品与身语之侍奉等，毫无保留地奉献出去。舍弃世间俗事后，行持修持之侍奉，没有比这更伟大的侍奉了。仅仅将修持达到标准，便能令十方诸佛连同佛子，以及上师噶举一切欢喜。于吉祥胜乐轮续中也说，完全舍弃一切供养后，郑重进行上师之供养，以此令上师欢喜，便能获得一切智智之无上果位。如是说。根本上师珍宝之，一切功德圆满具足，以及利益众生之广大事业等，皆是从令上师欢喜而生。你这孩子也应按照承诺之意义，仅仅将修持作为核心，便是令上师欢喜之侍奉，以及成就利益众生之广大事业。具足信心与慈悲大智慧，恭敬上师且具足戒律，精勤于禅定之，大上师以极大之努力，为了众生之利益而请问此法。愿由此所生之善根力，请法者与一切有情众生，皆能清净二障圆满资粮，获得圆满正等觉果位。此名为请问与答复智慧光，为了众生之利益由惹巴所著。完毕。愿吉祥！ 请问与答复智慧光。

That life essence, giving it to oneself is compassion. Practice as the Dharma says, all nature will bring happiness. The profound path is the service to the Lama. Among the three services mentioned, offerings and the services of body, speech, etc., should be offered without any reservation. Having abandoned worldly affairs, engaging in the service of practice, there is no greater service than this. Just by bringing the practice to a standard, one can please all the Buddhas of the ten directions along with their sons, and all the Lamas of the Kagyu lineage. It is also said in the glorious Chakrasamvara Tantra that, having completely abandoned all offerings, one should solemnly perform the offering to the Lama. By pleasing him, one can attain the supreme state of omniscience. Thus it is said. All the qualities of the precious root Lama are complete, and the vast deeds of benefiting beings, etc., all arise from pleasing the Lama. You, my child, should also follow the meaning of your promise, and just by making practice the core, it is the service of pleasing the Lama, and the accomplishment of vast deeds of benefiting beings. Possessing faith, compassion, and great wisdom, respecting the Lama and possessing discipline, diligently engaging in meditation, the great Lama, with great effort, requested this Dharma for the benefit of beings. May the virtue arising from this, may the one who requests and all sentient beings, purify the two obscurations, complete the accumulations, and attain the state of perfect enlightenment.
