When the two minds separate, when the two lights merge, how do the five bodies arise at that time? Please explain the reasons clearly. Thus I request: For the person who realizes their own mind, even death appears as a friend. Clear light does not arise from elsewhere, but that clear light of death is the Dharmakaya of the Buddha. Therefore, first generate Bodhicitta, cultivate it to perfection in the middle, and then, through the power of aspiration, become a Buddha for the benefit of sentient beings. That illusory body of the Bardo appears as the Sambhogakaya but has no inherent nature. Adorned with marks and signs, in the pure appearance of those to be tamed, it appears as the Sambhogakaya of the Buddha. To the inferior ones, it appears as the Nirmanakaya. Furthermore, in each of the six realms, there are six Thubpas (Buddhas) and so on, who manifest for the sake of those to be tamed. It is said that these are the Nirmanakayas of the Buddha. I am like a child, with little wisdom and intelligence. Because I have not distinguished the meaning, I ask that the Buddha, who knows the three times, forgive my body, speech, and mind for all the words and meanings that are not connected in all the requests above and below. Precious one with two wisdoms, you know my lineage, abilities, limits, and intelligence. Therefore, please look upon me with compassion and keep in mind the profound Dharma and clear instructions. Although my service with body and speech is small, I have abandoned worldly affairs and serve without distraction. Thus I request: There is no need to ask for forgiveness for requesting the profound Dharma, cultivating the Dharma like a farmer, and accomplishing the benefit of oneself and others. If it is said that one who is ignorant of both words and meaning is a child, then all phenomena, sentient and insentient, samsara and nirvana, are symbols that reveal one's own mind. Therefore, one's own mind is the Dharmakaya, free from elaboration. One who realizes one's own mind through symbols is one who possesses supreme intelligence. When words and meaning coincide, one transcends the faults of a child. Thus, the meaning of what has been requested is that although all dharmas appear as many in their individual appearances, they are one in the Dharmakaya. In that, there is no distinction of above and below. Having sound without meaning is like calling a bird-caller a shepherd, but he is not a real shepherd. Similarly, although we say "mind," we do not see the nature of mind. Having meaning without sound is like calling a horse an ox.

Like that. Afflictions are wisdom, for afflictions there is the sound of afflictions, for wisdom there is the sound of wisdom, because there is no meaningful sound intervening, it is contradictory. Asking whether the connection between the one essence and what arises from it exists or not, although the spoken sound is the meaning, the meaning itself is not separate from the sound. The nature of mind is the simultaneous arising of appearance and emptiness, form and sound, etc., all aspects are known, non-dual and without duality, not separate and not contradictory. Thus it is said. The mind of sentient beings and the heart of the Buddha, although not connected as one essence, the unity is that one's own mind is the Buddha. The connection that arises from that is, although one does not speak of the Buddha, the guru, the key instructions, and one's own mind, the three, when the interdependent connection is complete, the Buddha arises. What you do is half destructive, although you do not possess the knowledge of the three times, the three times are one's own mind. Just realizing one's own mind as the Buddha, one also knows the minds of sentient beings in the same way. One knows all sentient beings as they are. For a person who practices the Dharma purely, body, speech, and mind are not displeased, practicing the Dharma purely brings joy. The knowledge you asked about is the wisdom of the Buddha. Although there is no knowledge of the Buddha, the union of appearance and emptiness of sentient beings is the wisdom that possesses two kinds of knowledge. For one's own body, speech, and mind, the reality of the two, body and mind, with the key instructions of a profound person, the channels, letters, and winds, the three, Kundha (Tibetan, Devanagari Sanskrit, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning), the indestructible bindu, and the alaya consciousness, awareness, bodhicitta, these abide on the ground, and by practicing with the four key points, the qualities of each of these, temporarily and ultimately arise, that is the wisdom of knowing as it is. The reason lies in the reality that exists within oneself, merely when the interdependent connection of the path's accumulation is complete, the result is the perfect Buddha. The reality of cause and effect being complete, this is what I, Repa, know. Son, the reality that exists within yourself, the key points of the path are integrated into experience, for the benefit of beings, the Buddha, your lineage and faculties, the differences in realms and intelligence, those mentioned above. The guru's oral instructions are profound, and as requested, they are recorded in writing. Son, you have not met face to face, so it is the secret mantra dakini's.
