What is it called not realizing one's own mind? It is this very clear awareness that is continuous. What is it called not seeing the face of the mind? It is the thinker of the mind itself. What is it called not finding it by searching? Because there is nothing to do with it. What is it called not arising by doing? It is enough to rest in the uncorrected self-clarity. What is it called not being able to settle in its place? It is enough to rest in the inaction of stillness. What is it called being unable to do that? The clarity, awareness, and emptiness are inseparable and spontaneously accomplished. What is it called not being accomplished by practice? The self-arisen spontaneous accomplishment without cause or condition. What is it called being unable to do it by effort? Thoughts arise and are liberated simultaneously. What is it called not being overcome by antidotes? This present awareness is it. What is it called not knowing this? The nature of mind is emptiness, and it is certain that there is no basis. One's own mind is insubstantial, like empty space. Similar or dissimilar, look at your own mind. Emptiness is not like utter annihilation. It is certain that self-arisen wisdom is clear from the beginning. Self-arisen and self-luminous, like the essence of the sun. Similar or dissimilar, look at your own mind. Awareness and wisdom are certainly continuous. Continuous awareness is like a stream of water. Similar or dissimilar, look at your own mind. Conceptual thoughts and fleeting memories are certainly without substance. Fleeting and insubstantial, like hail in the sky. Similar or dissimilar, look at your own mind. Whatever appears is certainly one's own appearance. Appearance is one's own appearance, like a reflection in a mirror. Similar or dissimilar, look at your own mind. All characteristics are certainly liberated in their own place. Self-arisen and self-liberated, like clouds in the sky. Similar or dissimilar, look at your own mind. Since there is no Dharma other than the mind, By viewing, there is no other Dharma to view. Since there is no Dharma other than the mind, By meditating, there is no other Dharma to meditate on. Since there is no Dharma other than the mind, By acting, there is no other Dharma to practice. Since there is no Dharma other than the mind, By vows, there is no other Dharma to protect. Since there is no Dharma other than the mind, By results, there is no other Dharma to accomplish. Look again, look again, look at your own mind. Looking outward into the expanse of outer space, If this mind scatters, there is no place to scatter, Looking inward at your own mind, If thoughts scatter, there is no scatterer, The clarity of one's own mind without scattering, Self-

The clear light emptiness is the Dharmakaya, like the sun rising in a clear, cloudless sky. Without any conceptual thoughts, everything is clearly known. The difference between realizing this and not realizing it is vast. This primordially unborn, self-arisen clear light is a wondrous, parentless child of awareness. Unmade by anyone, self-arisen wisdom is wondrous. Never born and without the possibility of death is wondrous. Although manifestly clear, there is no one who sees it is wondrous. Although wandering in samsara, it does not go to the lower realms is wondrous. Although attaining Buddhahood, it does not become better is wondrous. Although present in everyone, not knowing its true nature is wondrous. Abandoning this and hoping for another result is wondrous. Although present within oneself, searching for it elsewhere is wondrous. Emaho! This present awareness, insubstantial and clear, is the very pinnacle of all views. This aimless, all-pervading, free from intellect, is the very pinnacle of all meditation. This uncorrected, ungrasping, naturally abiding, is the very pinnacle of all conduct. This unfabricated, spontaneously accomplished from the beginning, is the very pinnacle of all results. Because there is no error, the four great boundaries are shown. The great boundary where there is no error in view is this present, clear, and lucid awareness. Because it is clear and without error, it is called a boundary. The great boundary where there is no error in meditation is this present, clear, and lucid knowing. Because it is clear and without error, it is called a boundary. The great boundary where there is no error in conduct is this present, clear, and lucid knowing. Because it is clear and without error, it is called a boundary. The great boundary where there is no error in result is this present, clear, and lucid knowing. Because it is clear and without error, it is called a boundary. The four great nails of immutability are shown. The great nail of immutable view is this present, clear, and lucid awareness itself. Because it is stable in the three times, it is called a nail. The great nail of immutable meditation is this present, clear, and lucid awareness itself. Because it is stable in the three times, it is called a nail. The great nail of immutable conduct is this present, clear, and lucid awareness itself. Because it is stable in the three times, it is called a nail. The great nail of immutable result is this present, clear, and lucid awareness itself. Because it is stable in the three times, it is called a nail. The instruction for placing the three times as one is: Do not separate before and after, abandon the concept of the past. Do not welcome future, cut the thread of the mind. Now, without grasping, abide in the state of space. There is no meditation, in anything.
