Continuity in divine tree, and said in succession, also; In opposite of north, and in best, is unsurpassed, in three. 954. Valour is said in power-attainment, and in mere beauty; Shadow, however, in absence of sun, in reflection, and of light. 955. In summer, heat and warmth, in heat, sweat-water, also; Cutting is said in cutting, in alternative, in preparation, feminine. 956. In liquor, trouble, desires, in 'savādi' and 'āsavo'; 'Upadhi' is said of the body, and of a chariot wheel, in four 'upadhis'. 970. 'Vatthu' is said of a cause, a substance, a type of land, the triple gem; 'Yakkha' in a god, a great king, a follower of Kuvera, a man. 971. 'Madhu' is said of the juice of a grape, and of a flower, of honey; 'Vitāna' is in a canopy, and in expansion, neuter again. 976. 'Amata' is known in liberation, in water, in nectar; 'Tama' is neuter in delusion, in darkness, in number, in quality. 977. 'Kaṭu' in harsh, in what is not to be done, in all three, in taste, in a man; 'Puñña' in a eunuch, in good deeds, in pleasant, in pure, in all three. 978. 'Rukkho' in a tree, 'pharusā' in rough, 'so' in smooth, in all three; 'Sambhava' in origin, in cause, in attachment, in semen. 979. 'Nimitta' is said of a cause, a birthmark, a sign; 'Mato' in beginning, boundary, kind, near, a part. 980. 'Manto' in the Veda and in counsel, 'mantā' is said of wisdom; 'Anayo' is in misfortune, and is seen in calamity. 981. Kuhanā: in deceit, trickery, kuhano: a deceiver, in these three. 985. Kapoto: in the bird species, seen in a pigeon, and also. Sārado: in autumn-born, in the impudent, it is considered in three. 986. In three: harsh and hard, kakkaso: rough, in one fond of violence. Akāriya: in the private parts, cīra: a loincloth is called kopīna. 987. In a species of deer, in a banner, in a plantain tree, in a woman. Dakkhiṇā: in a kind of gift, dakkhiṇo: right, in another, left. 988. Dutiyā: in a wife, it is considered the second of two. Āṇāya: in command, in arrival, in writing; Sāsanaṃ: in instruction. 994. Agge: in the top, and also a peak, mayavijjhanakaṇṭake: a thorn for piercing. Guṇukkaṃse: in excellence of qualities, and in prosperity, sampatti: and also sampadā: success. 995. Khamā: in patience, in forgiveness, khamo: suitable, in three, capable. Addho: in a part, in a path, in time, addho: in certainty, may be an indeclinable. Atho: and also karīsaṃ: in excrement, it is called caturambaṇa: a measure. 996. Usabho: in a bull, in a chief, sū: good, usabhaṃ: in a measure of land. Pāḷi: in a bridge, in a line, in a row, in a woman, it is said. 997. Kaṭo: in victory, in a reason, kilañje: in a mat, so: he, kate: in three. Jagatī: the earth, is said. in the temple courtyard. 998. Thought, when churned, is reasoning, and also known as a needle-point; Sudassana in Sakka’s city, in three, it is hard to see in others. 999. A dolphin, a crocodile, a child, and an owl; a blue lotus is known, in a blue water-lily, a tree with uddāla flowers. 1004. A tree, a beloved, a section, eating, throwing, is a weapon; in a yoke, authority, effort, in the foremost, and near, is a burden. 1005. In black, and eaten, in three, a sickle, is a man; invitation, refusal, is said, and for requesting. 1006. A threshold, a doorpost, a door-pillar is known, and also; a book, a cloth made of bark, a text, in plastering and other work. 1007. Grain is said to be rice and so on, fortunate is in three, for a meritorious person; a hand, and a being, a land, is known as a fine implement. 1008. In three, yellow, in turmeric colour, in glad, and in suckled, it may be; a formation, a battle array, in a troop, it is known. 1009. In red and so on, in greed, passion is known in dyeing; a slab, in breaking, a wide chasm, and also. 1010. A water caltrop, in the fruit of kaseru, at a crossroads; in abundance, and in saliva, is spittle, in fault, spittle is said. 1011. A support, and a location, a receptacle for leaves, a water pot; a maker, in kind, in honour, a prison, is a jail. 1012. Hail, in hailstones, a water pot, in a pitcher; reaching, and in a foot soldier, going, a woman is a path. 1013. Vaṭṭa is in expenditure, in karma, etc., that is in round, in three genders. Paṭihāra is in bringing back, in a door, and in a doorkeeper. Bhīru is said of a woman, that (bhīru) is in a timid person, in three genders. Vikaṭa is in excrement, urine, etc., vikaṭa is in changed, in three genders. Vāma is in left, that is in beautiful, in adverse, and in three genders. Lakkha is said in a type of number, and in a target, in a mark. Seṇī is feminine, in a group of similar artisans, and in a row. Cuṇṇa is in plaster, in dust, and cuṇṇa is in fragrant powder. Jeyya is said in what should be conquered, in highly praised, in old, in three genders. Mathita is in buttermilk, and mathita is in agitated, in three genders.
