(B) Or again, for whom the male faculty will not arise, for him, does the nose faculty not arise? For those in their last existence, who are reborn in the sense-sphere, and those who, having been reborn in the form-sphere or formless-sphere, will attain final Nibbāna, and those women who, having shown themselves in a few existences in this same way, will attain final Nibbāna, for those who are being reborn, for them, the male faculty will not arise, but for them, the nose faculty does arise. For those attaining final Nibbāna in the sense-sphere, for those in their last existence in the form-sphere or formless-sphere, and those who, having been reborn in the form-sphere or formless-sphere, will attain final Nibbāna, and those women who, having shown themselves in a few existences in this same way, will attain final Nibbāna, for those who are passing away, for them, the male faculty will not arise, and the nose faculty does not arise. (A) For whom the nose faculty does not arise, for him, will the life faculty not arise? For all who are passing away, for those being reborn without a nose, for them, the nose faculty does not arise, but for them, the life faculty will arise. For those attaining final Nibbāna in the sense-sphere, for those in their last existence in the form-sphere or formless-sphere, for them, the nose faculty does not arise, and the life faculty will not arise. (B) Or again, for whom the life faculty will not arise, for him, does the nose faculty not arise? For those in their last existence, who are reborn in the sense-sphere, for them, the life faculty will not arise, but for them, the nose faculty does arise. For those attaining final Nibbāna in the sense-sphere, for those in their last existence in the form-sphere or formless-sphere, for them, the life faculty will not arise, and the nose faculty does not arise. (A) For whom the nose faculty does not arise, for him, will the faculty of joy not arise? For all who are passing away, for those being reborn without a nose, for them, the nose faculty does not arise, but for them, The faculty of joy will not arise. For those attaining final Nibbāna in the sense-sphere, for those who are final-existents in the form-sphere, in the formless-sphere, and for those who, having arisen with equanimity, will attain final Nibbāna, for them, while passing away, for them, the faculty of smell does not arise, and the faculty of joy will not arise. (B) Or for whom the faculty of joy will not arise, for him, does the faculty of smell not arise? For those who are final-existents arising in the sense-sphere, and for those with a nose who, having arisen with equanimity, will attain final Nibbāna, for them, while arising, for them, the faculty of joy will not arise, but for them, the faculty of smell does arise. For those attaining final Nibbāna in the sense-sphere, for those who are final-existents in the form-sphere, in the formless-sphere, and for those who, having arisen with equanimity, will attain final Nibbāna, for them, while passing away, for them, the faculty of joy will not arise, and the faculty of smell does not arise. (A) For whom the faculty of smell does not arise, for him, will the faculty of equanimity not arise? For all those passing away, for those without a nose arising, for them, the faculty of smell does not arise, but for them, the faculty of equanimity will arise. For those attaining final Nibbāna in the sense-sphere, for those who are final-existents in the form-sphere, in the formless-sphere, and for those who, having arisen with joy, will attain final Nibbāna, for them, while passing away, for them, the faculty of smell does not arise, and the faculty of equanimity will not arise. (B) Or for whom the faculty of equanimity will not arise, for him, does the faculty of smell not arise? For those who are final-existents arising in the sense-sphere, and for those with a nose who, having arisen with joy, will attain final Nibbāna, for them, while arising, for them, the faculty of equanimity will not arise, but for them, the faculty of smell does arise. For those attaining final Nibbāna in the sense-sphere, for those who are final-existents in the form-sphere, in the formless-sphere, and for those who, having arisen with joy, will attain final Nibbāna, for them, while passing away, for them, the faculty of equanimity will not arise, and the faculty of smell does not arise. and the nose-faculty does not arise. For whom the nose-faculty does not arise, for them will the ear-faculty…etc… the wisdom-faculty…etc… the mind-faculty not arise? For all those passing away, for those without a nose, for those reappearing, for them the nose-faculty does not arise, but for them the mind-faculty will arise. For those attaining final Nibbāna in the sense-sphere, in the form-sphere, in the formless-sphere, who are in their last existence, for them the nose-faculty does not arise, and the mind-faculty will not arise. Or again, for whom the mind-faculty will not arise, for them does the nose-faculty not arise? For those in their last existence, reappearing in the sense-sphere, for them the mind-faculty will not arise, but for them the nose-faculty does arise. For those attaining final Nibbāna in the sense-sphere, in the form-sphere, in the formless-sphere, who are in their last existence, for them the mind-faculty will not arise, and the nose-faculty does not arise. (Rooted in the nose-faculty) 387. (A) For whom the female-faculty does not arise, for them will the male-faculty not arise? For all those passing away, for those not female, for those reappearing, for them the female-faculty does not arise, but for them the male-faculty will arise. For those attaining final Nibbāna in the sense-sphere, in the form-sphere, in the formless-sphere, who are in their last existence, and those who, having reappeared in the form-sphere or formless-sphere, will attain final Nibbāna, and those females who, having shown themselves in this very existence for a few existences, will attain final Nibbāna, for those passing away, for them the female-faculty does not arise, and the male-faculty will not arise. (B) Or again, for whom the male-faculty will not arise, for them does the female-faculty not arise? For those females in their last existence, for those reappearing, and those females who, having reappeared in the form-sphere or formless-sphere, will attain final Nibbāna, and those females who, having shown themselves in this very existence for a few existences, will attain final Nibbāna, for those reappearing, for them the male-faculty will not arise, but for them the female-faculty does arise. For those attaining final Nibbāna in the sense-sphere, for those who are last-existents in the form-sphere and formless-sphere, and for those who, having arisen in the form-sphere or formless-sphere, will attain final Nibbāna, and for those women who, having shown themselves in a few existences in this very state, will attain final Nibbāna— for them, when they are passing away, the faculty of masculinity will not arise, and the faculty of femininity will not arise. (A) For whom the faculty of femininity does not arise, for them will the faculty of life not arise? For all those passing away, and for those not arising as women, for them the faculty of femininity does not arise, but for them the faculty of life will arise. For those attaining final Nibbāna in the sense-sphere, for those who are last-existents in the form-sphere and formless-sphere, for them the faculty of femininity does not arise, and the faculty of life will not arise. (B) Or for whom the faculty of life will not arise, for them does the faculty of femininity not arise? For last-existent women who are arising, for them the faculty of life will not arise, but for them the faculty of femininity does arise. For those attaining final Nibbāna in the sense-sphere, for those who are last-existents in the form-sphere and formless-sphere, for them the faculty of life will not arise, and the faculty of femininity does not arise. (A) For whom the faculty of femininity does not arise, for them will the faculty of joy not arise? For all those passing away, and for those not arising as women, for them the faculty of femininity does not arise, but for them the faculty of joy will arise. For those attaining final Nibbāna in the sense-sphere, for those who are last-existents in the form-sphere and formless-sphere, and for those who, having arisen with equanimity, will attain final Nibbāna— for them, when they are passing away, the faculty of femininity does not arise, and the faculty of joy will not arise. (B) Or for whom the faculty of joy will not arise, for them does the faculty of femininity not arise? For last-existent women who are arising, and for those women who, having arisen with equanimity, will attain final Nibbāna, for them, when they are arising, for them the faculty of joy For them, the faculty of joy will not arise, but for them, the faculty of femininity does arise.
