And non-contentment with wholesome states is – that desire for more of one who is not content with the development of wholesome states. 1379. And unflaggingness in exertion is – that diligent performance, continuous performance for the development of wholesome states. Steadfastness in action, unflagging conduct, unremitting will, unabandoned burden, frequent practice, development, repeated cultivation. 1380.Knowledge is – three knowledges – the knowledge of the recollection of past lives is knowledge, the knowledge of the passing away and reappearance of beings is knowledge, the knowledge of the destruction of the taints is knowledge. 1381.Liberation is – two liberations – the resolution of mind, and Nibbāna. 1382.The knowledge of destruction is – the knowledge of one endowed with the path. 1383.The knowledge of non-arising is – the knowledge of one endowed with the fruit.
