The four ways of holding one's own nature firmly: 1. Dharmata Manifestation: Within the Dharmadhatu (realm of reality), awareness is contained, up to the point where the appearance of the three connected bindus (spheres of light) becomes a direct sensory experience. Temporary State: Dharmata is ultimately liberated in the original ground, free from mental activity. Experience Enhancement: The bindus gradually increase, standing upright, radiating light, like the patterns of peacock feathers, the tent of five lights grows larger and appears, as well as the subtle bodies of the five families of Buddhas, etc. Awareness Perfection: All ordinary appearances dissolve into the Dharmadhatu, and the great mandala of the five families of Buddhas pervades, thus the great realm of Akanishta (highest pure land) is perfected by its own appearance. 2. Dharmata Exhaustion: The increase and decrease of outer experiential appearances, the exhaustion of the illusory body's dharma, the exhaustion of the secret collection of thoughts, all words and illusions naturally exhaust, as well as the mind that clings to appearance and non-appearance, etc. Temporary State: Dividing the boundaries of the four appearances, ultimately the dharma is exhausted, and one attains complete Buddhahood. 3. The four ways of familiarizing oneself with the nature of the four limits: Establishing the basis of the three immovables: If the body does not move, the channels do not move. If the channels do not move, the eyes do not move. If the eyes do not move, the wind (prana) does not move. If the wind does not move, the mind does not move. If the mind does not move, the collection of thoughts naturally clears and abides. Grasping the measure of the three abidings: Outer appearance abides, inner illusory body abides, secret wind and mind abide. Grasping the measure with dreams: For the best, dreams cease. For the intermediate, clear light appears. For the lowest, one recognizes in dreams. 4. Manifestation at the three doors of signs: At the time of Dharmata manifestation, the body is like a turtle placed in its shell, speech is like a mute, and the mind is like a bird caught in a net. During enhancement, the body is like a person afflicted by illness, speech is like a madman, and the mind is like one poisoned by poison. At perfection, the body is like an elephant stuck in mud, speech is like a sound in a pot, and the mind is like a person cured of smallpox. At Dharmata exhaustion, the body is like a corpse in a charnel ground, speech is like an echo from a rock, and the mind is like a fog. Obtaining: Obtaining autonomy over birth, obtaining autonomy over entering, obtaining autonomy over wind and mind. 5. Driving the nails of the three 'fears': Hoping to obtain the qualities of a Buddha, and having no fear of not obtaining them; hoping not to fall into samsara, and having no fear of falling. 6. The four degrees of heat: Liberating in the original ground, manifesting as the youthful vase body, attaining perfect enlightenment; these are the instructions for liberation in this life. 2. Attaining Buddhahood in this very life with medium diligence: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There are four instructions regarding the Bardo stages: For the Bardo of the Birth Place (kyé né kyi bardo), severing the doubts of hearing and thinking is like a caravan leader going to Dewachen (Sukhavati, the Pure Land of Amitabha). For the Bardo of Dying (chí khé bardo), establishing clarity is like delivering the king's decree. For the Bardo of Dharmata (chö nyi kyi bardo), trusting in self-appearance is like holding a child in one's lap. For the Bardo of Existence (sidpa bardo), continuing the momentum of karma is like a fox burrowing into a collapsed irrigation ditch. Finally, with diligence, one attains Buddhahood in the Nirmanakaya (rangzhin trülpé ku, Emanation Body). The lineage is as follows: Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra), Dorje Sempa (Vajrasattva), Garab Dorje (Prahevajra), Shri Singha, Padma Tötreng (Padmasambhava), Kharchen Za, Terton Tsultrim Dorje, Longchen Rabjampa, Khyabdal Lhündrub. At this time, offerings, tormas (ritual cakes), and tsok khor (feast gatherings) are also needed. Drakpa Özer, Sangye Wönpo, Thugse Dawa Drakpa, Künsang Dorje, Gyaltsen Palzang, Natsok Rangdröl, Tenzin Drakpa, Do-ngak Tenzin, Trinle Lhündrub, Root Lama (tsawai lama). Or, starting from the Terton: Shöban Lekpa, Rangjung Dorje, Yungtönpa, Yeshe Zangpo, Tsultrim Gönpo, Gönpo Gyaltsen, Gyalse Chöje, Nyantön Chöje, Nup Ratnashri, Namkha Sherab, Ngari Panchen, Lekden Dorje, Kyi Tön Tseringpa, Lüdrub Chögyama, Namkha Rigdzin, Thugchok Öbar, Terdak Lingpa, and then to me. Or, from Namkha Sherab to Lekden Dorje, the same. Or: Shösewa Lung du Drung Jo Jo Pa, Chökyi Drakpa, Namkhai Tsenchen, Ngari Panchen and below, the same. Or: Drime Özer, Ösal Longyang, Lhünding Rabjam, Changlung Zhönnu Lodrö, Rabsal Dawa, Panchen and below, the same. Or, starting from Shöban: Delek Gyatso, Changlungpa and below, the same. This was compiled and written based on the hearing records of the two Panchen brothers. This is 'The Luminous Treasury of the Four Visions, A Guidebook to the Great Perfection Khandro Nyingtik,' recorded by the Zahor monk while receiving practical instructions from the kind Terdak Lingpa. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
