Making the thousand petals of benefit and happiness bloom in the land of snows, Worldly powerful lord, accomplished sun lord. When drawn near by the seven chariots of discernment, The darkness of the decline of existence and peace is dispelled. By merely seeing, hearing, or remembering, from samsara, Liberation is attained, and if practiced, in one lifetime, The self-aware Samantabhadra's (Primordial Buddha) state is manifested, This practice, the heart essence of the sun, I will now explain. Therefore, here, I will speak about the easy-to-recite practice of the twenty-three deities of Great Compassion Avalokiteśvara (Chenrezig), which comes from the collection of teachings of the Dharma-protecting king, Songtsen Gampo. Refuge, Bodhicitta, Field of Merit, Four Immeasurables. Protection Wheel, Visualization, Bestowing Blessings. Outer Offerings, Medicine, Alcohol, Torma, etc. Are the preliminary steps for blessing.
