svabhāva śuddhāḥ sarvadharmāḥ svabhāva śuddho'haṃ. (Tibetan) The nature of all dharmas is pure, I am pure by nature. (Sanskrit Devanagari, svabhāva śuddhāḥ sarvadharmāḥ svabhāva śuddho'haṃ) (Sanskrit Roman transliteration, svabhava shuddhah sarvadharmah svabhava shuddho'ham) (Literal Chinese meaning, The nature of all dharmas is pure, I am pure by nature.) From emptiness, from the syllable Om, within vast and expansive jeweled vessels, Hum Hum, arising from immeasurable melting, offerings made of divine substances: offering water, foot-washing water, flowers, incense, lamps, perfume, food, music, clear and unobstructed, pervading all of earth, sky, and space, like clouds of offerings arising from the liberation of Samantabhadra, inconceivable, capable of generating the extraordinary bliss of the six senses' objects, without outflows, becoming equal to the sky. I and all beings of the three realms, equal to the sky, all the body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities of all the Tathagatas of the ten directions and three times, the essence of which is the source of the eighty-four thousand collections of Dharma, the masters of all the noble Sangha, the glorious and precious root and lineage Lamas, and the deities of the Yidam mandala, I take refuge. I take refuge in the Buddha! I take refuge in the Dharma! I take refuge in the Sangha! Each session of the ritual should be recited one hundred and eight times, or fifty times, or twenty-one times, or no less than seven times. Then: In the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha, the supreme jewels, Until enlightenment, I and others take refuge. By the merit of generosity and other virtues I have accumulated, May I attain Buddhahood for the benefit of all beings. Recite three times. Instantly visualize yourself as White Tara, in the center of the moon mandala at your heart, your own mind transforms into a white Tam (Tibetan, ཏཱཾཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari, taṃ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration, tam, Literal Chinese meaning, Tam) syllable, from which light radiates, filling the inside of your body with white light, purifying all the sins and obscurations accumulated since beginningless time, and as the light radiates outwards, inviting the noble White Tara from Potala.
