When that was complete, and the Protector desired to depart into the realm of reality, I pray that you do not pass into sorrow, in order to free sentient beings from suffering. Until I become the King of Sages, I take refuge in the Three Jewels: the Buddhas, the Dharma, and the Sangha, along with the hosts of heroes and yoginis. I will abide in the path of yoga, keep all vows, and strive to liberate all sentient beings from suffering. Through these virtues, such as generosity, may I become a Buddha who possesses all supreme qualities, and may I liberate all beings. Then, take the vows of the five families, and recite "I take refuge in the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha," and so on, and "rising early in the morning," and so on. Although there may be differences in the transformations of the Victorious One's manifestations and the blazing fire of the eon, the former seems to have some omissions, so the latter is better. The Eight Names, the Blazing Fire of the Eon, and the Lineage Confession of Darika are rarely known these days, even to those who claim to speak of Hevajra, so they are mentioned here for the sake of their non-extinction. Since these praises are the words of the Victorious Ones, they are very important during rituals. Now, let us recite here: Om Ah Tha. Glorious, profound, clear, indivisible, perfect enjoyment, Incomparable, blissful perfection, supremely joyful, equal to space, Supreme guide, glorious protector of all existence and peace, I praise Vajra Acharya, Vajradhara. Whoever praises him obtains all qualities, Whoever relies on and worships him obtains both kinds of siddhis, Meditating on his form prevents ordinary appearances and attachments, To him I offer this garland of praise. On top of the four elements, Mount Meru, The thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, Appear as a palace of immeasurable wisdom, In the center of the various lotuses, Of the wheel of the great bliss abode, The Lord of all families, the Bhagavan, Samantabhadra, the wrathful Heruka, I prostrate to the Wheel of Hevajra. Enjoying the sun that dispels ignorance, Dark blue, the unchanging nature of reality, With four faces of the four liberations, I bow to the one with two feet of method and wisdom. The root face is black and the left is red, The back is yellow and the right is white, with three eyes, Knowing the three times and having twelve hands, I bow to the cessation of the twelve links of interdependence. The twelve-fold immutable body, The first two hands hold a vajra and a bell,
