It is the key to purifying the nature of consciousness. Purifying fire by grasping the quintessence of the fivefold A, making the spreading defilements pure in themselves. By focusing the mind on the letters ཨྸ྄ཨྸ྄ཨ་྅྅྅ in the space of the eyes, it is the key that has the necessity of reversing the self-nature of the five gates. The key instruction here is: ཀ་ཁ་ག་ང་ཅ་ are the root instructions of the five elements. Combining the lower letters into one is the instruction for uniting the elements: ཀི་ཁི་གི་ངི་ཅི is the key to opening the upper elements. The five hooks also open that. By combining them, since these letters are also needed to completely exhaust the body that holds the five elements, therefore, the key to this instruction proceeds in this way. This is the key to exhausting the elements. ཨཐྎ. In general, for all the letters that combine instructions, one should know that ཀ་རྐྱང་ཁ་རྐྱང་ etc. are the root, as well as the key to opening it, and also re-opening and its commentary. After that, གུ་གུ་ etc. are the keys to opening. Similar to that, the hooks etc. are re-opening. Similarly, those below it are the commentary's commentary. The ending and the knot are also the key to the root. Therefore, through the combination of ཀ་ཁ་མ་བུའི་, one should know that this is the explanation here and the opening key to the re-explanation. Having become familiar in this way, in the six-sentence key instruction, through the combination of ཀ་ཁ་མ་བུ་, the six groups of six establish the meaning of the root. Thus, through thirty-six words, it becomes the familiar key instruction. Through it, one can directly see the face of Vajrasattva. This is the key letter shown here. This is the clarification of the key text of the method of wisdom that precedes the taming of the mind: Thus, this is the instruction of taming the mind of enlightenment shown to the fortunate ones. In order to do the benefit of others through emanation, the mind-taming instructions of these teachings are: the lama leads the disciple to the center of a large city, because the disciple has a strong faith born in his mind, there is a need to turn his mind away from samsara, and then teaches the disciple these mind-taming instructions, making impermanence familiar in his mind.
