This back text of the Secret Script of the Manifest Heart Drop: That fortunate student who takes it to heart should first offer the lama gold equal to their own body and request it from three years prior. Various methods of working with karma should be done. Then, in a secluded place, it is important to ripen through empowerments with elaboration, without elaboration, extremely without elaboration, and utterly without elaboration. Then, the instruction that liberates: It teaches the instruction that the lazy attain buddhahood without meditating, and the diligent attain buddhahood in this life through meditation. That is, Samantabhadra is enlightened from the very beginning. Sentient beings do not realize this and wander in samsara. What takes them? Ignorance takes them. They are confused by the four winds, the four lights, the four elements, and so forth. From the four elements, the four human races arise. Thus, realization and the activity of doing also arise. Thus, because the capacity of the mind becomes large or small, the water person has a round and flat body, hair that is combed back, slow speech, a soft body, sleeps a lot, and is mostly slow. Because of this, they are very flirtatious, crave women, have a gentle mouth, and are dull, like the behavior of a cat. For them, empowerment with elaboration is conferred. The instruction also teaches the section on mind-holding with elaboration. Because the mind is led by the cause and effect that are emphasized in the mind-essence vows and so forth, it cannot be contained by non-elaboration. When this is manifested, the secret, unsurpassed is taught, and they are made to take it to heart. Even if they do not attain buddhahood in this, when they pass away, they will not go to the city of the womb, and there is no doubt that they will attain buddhahood in the realm of the Nirmāṇakāya. The earth person has a square, elegant body, a low hairline, facial hair, speaks little and is unclear, is very stable, and does not like elaboration. Therefore, empowerment without elaboration is conferred.
