In the language of India: Garuṭa Mari Kem Keṃ Karma Tantra. In the Tibetan language: Called the Garuda Electric Transformation Karma Tantra. Homage to the great glorious Vajradhara. Thus I have heard, at one time, the Bhagavan was dwelling in the palace city of the earth lord Naga and Nyen on the great northern ocean island, together with an inconceivable assembly of Garuda retinue, both worldly and beyond worldly, and an inconceivable number of Garuda of the ten directions of the world. Then, the Yaksha leader Vajrapani asked the Bhagavan, "Bhagavan, in the world realm, those who are extremely suffering, afflicted by the poison of Yakshas, by what actions can they be benefited? Please explain." The Bhagavan said, "Vajrapani, listen. Although the sentient beings who are extremely tormented by the poison of pretas are inconceivable, I will explain the rite of benefiting them, the one hundred and eight actions of the Garuda. Vajrapani, hold it in your mind and listen. These sentient beings of the three realms, born from one hundred and three kinds of suffering, revolve again and again in the wheel of existence, constantly tormented by the obstacles arising from conceptual thought, continuously inseparable from the disease of understanding, and constantly tormented by the causes arising from karma. I will explain the rite of averting them." Having said this, the Bhagavan, having entered into the samadhi called "Destroying All Poisonous Ones," five kinds of light rays arose from the crown of his head and radiated upwards. All the sentient beings in the upper direction who were afflicted by demons were liberated from all suffering. From the tip of his tongue, light rays with five colors emanated as mantra syllables, radiating into the space realm. All the sentient beings in the space realm who were afflicted by demons were liberated from all suffering. From the right thumb of his foot, inconceivable Garudas were emitted, radiating downwards. All the suffering of those afflicted by the demons of the earth lord Naga and Nyen was liberated. Thus, all sentient beings were liberated from suffering.

Then, seeing all the retinue, including Vajrapani, they were very amazed, and praised the Blessed One with amazement, saying: Emaho! Compassionate Protector, with a heart of compassion, For sentient beings and their afflictions, The sun of compassion shines brightly, Destroying conceptualization, I prostrate and praise! Emaho! Wondrous, amazing crown of the head, Five kinds of rays shine brightly, All the diseases of malice are eliminated, Liberating sentient beings to happiness, I praise with wonder! From the lotus tongue of the Blessed One, Fierce rays of mantra emanate, All the hosts of malice are destroyed, Compassion itself is light, I praise and prostrate! From the right foot's big toe of the Blessed One, An inconceivable Garuda is produced, Destroying the malice of the earth lords and nagas, Causing joy and laughter in happiness, I prostrate and praise! Emaho! Compassionate Protector, with a heart of compassion, Completely liberating from the disease of malice, Solely for the benefit of others, never tiring, Like the sun, impartial, I prostrate and praise!
