Do not cling to external places and things, and do not harbor aversion towards internal clinging thoughts. When one is certain of cutting off the duality of the grasper and the grasped, that is introducing awareness into a realm without a place. Whatever deluded thoughts or five poisons arise, understand that their root is emptiness. Because wisdom naturally arises from delusion, recognize delusion as the manifestation of wisdom. Hūṃ, when one recognizes that the essence of mind is emptiness and that nothing can be added to it, that is recognizing the state of unborn, unceasing, and free from elaboration. The six-syllable mantra arises from the mouth of the Great Compassionate One. By understanding the meaning of the mantra, the intention of Great Compassion (Avalokiteśvara) is revealed. When one recognizes that one's own mind and the mind of the Great Compassionate One are inseparable, merely through this recognition, mind and intention are recognized as being without difference. Thus it is said. This is the seventh chapter on introduction. To the perfectly complete Buddha Amitabha, the emanation Padmasambhava asked: How is the intention of the Great Compassionate One, the key to dissolving appearances in their own place? The Buddha said: The instruction for dissolving appearances in their own place is like a clear sky. The nature of mind is emptiness, like the sky, without any characteristics that can be grasped. Although clouds and moisture arise, the essence of emptiness arises from emptiness. When it appears again, it does not appear anywhere, just like the sky. All things and appearances that appear now are the self-manifestation of self-arisen wisdom. Therefore, appearances do not become other things, but are completely pure. The appearance of appearances itself is the manifestation of self-arisen wisdom. Meditate without moving from clarity. In this way, by clearly meditating on the Great Compassionate One, the yogi recites: Oṃ Maṇi Padme Hūṃ (藏文:ཨོྂ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྂ,梵文天城体:ओँ मणि पद्मे हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡啊! Even if any appearance manifests like the Hinayana, do not regard it as a fault. Completely cut off the state of no appearance. This is the eighth chapter on dissolving appearances in their own place. To the Buddha Amitabha, the emanation Padmasambhava again asked: How is the intention of the Great Compassionate One, the intention of no arising and ceasing of samadhi? The Buddha said: The intention of no arising and ceasing of samadhi is like going to the Jewel Golden Island. On the Jewel Golden Island, mountains, rocks, and the earth have all turned to gold. All appearances have turned to gold.

Without stain. Just as gold is always clear, all the dharmas of samsara and nirvana arise from the uncorrected, self-arisen wisdom of mind itself. Because it abides without wavering from other views, it regards the meaning of unchanging from meditation as the one true thing, and experiences it with wisdom. Because there is no stopping, there is no entering into meditation. In all times and circumstances, the mind abides in the nature of dharma. There is no arising or entering from samadhi. Thus, the yogi who meditates on the great compassion that appears so clearly, recites the mantra Oṃ Maṇi Padme Hūṃ (藏文:ཨོྂ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྂ།,梵文天城体:ओँ मणि पद्मे हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Om Mani Padme Hum) and, like other vehicles, guards the intervals of meditation, abandons the places of obscuration and distraction in samadhi, and completely cuts off the need for effort. This is the ninth chapter on the view of samadhi without arising or ceasing. Before the Buddha Amitabha, the emanation Padmasambhava asked again: What is the view of great compassion? The Buddha said: The view of encountering the nature of dharma is like seeing the king of encountering the nature of dharma. Just as seeing the king gives rise to the thought that he is more excellent than other people, so too, if one is seized by the confidence of realizing the mind of enlightenment, whatever appears, whatever is not seen, whatever is felt, whatever happens, whatever is encountered, without being interrupted by conceptual thought, knowing that whatever appears is mind, the essence of mind is emptiness and clarity, this is the view of the nature of dharma. Do not regard appearances as faults, because appearances arise as the nature of dharma, therefore the nature of dharma appears as encounter. Thus, the yogi of great compassion who realizes this, recites the mantra Oṃ Maṇi Padme Hūṃ (藏文:ཨོྂ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྂ།,梵文天城体:ओँ मणि पद्मे हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Om Mani Padme Hum) and, like other vehicles, blindly regards things as real, and because there is no separate view of the nature of dharma from beyond that, for all who seek the true meaning, completely cut off the need for effort. This is the tenth chapter on the view of encountering the nature of dharma. Before the Buddha Amitabha, the emanation Padmasambhava asked again: What is the view of great compassion, how does conceptual thought arise as wisdom? The Buddha said: The view of conceptual thought arising as wisdom is like fire spreading on grass. Just as in mid-winter fire spreads on grass, or like fire spreading in a forest, plants and forests, even mind
