Homage and praise to the threefold discipline! Thus rejoicing, and praising with great wonder. The Tantra called "Glorious Great Black One, Earth-Shaker" is complete. Tam Tan Gam Thun: Kha Tam. Then, the Great Black One is, the desire-god, powerful hero, the symbol of subduing the desire realm with power, having thus observed, he spoke his own mantra: Listen to these secret mantras that arise in my mind, by holding them, there is accomplishment in this, for the sake of accomplishing all, I will explain. Oṃ mahākāla guṇahari dhahūṃ (藏文:ཨོྂ་མ་ཧཱ་ཀཱ་ལ་གུ་ན་ཧརི་དྷ་ཧཱུྂ,梵文天城体:ओṃ महाकाल गुणहरि धहूṃ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ mahākāla guṇahari dhahūṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡,大黑,功德,哈日,达,吽). The best of the ten-syllable mantras. Because of being the cause of the chief or the owner, from the blessing of the gathering of wisdom, it is named the king of mantras. Therefore, I am the name of the Great One, dwelling without fear because of relatives. That is my quality, those also spoken by the essence, in the center of the heart is one's own life. Like a precious arm ornament, the mantra of the tantra is ten syllables. From the Noble Precious Arm Ornament Tantra, the first chapter, the practice of secret mantras. Then, the Protector Hero, spoke his own mudras. Whichever future yogis, whichever ones who are in accordance with karma, desire to obtain my mudras, having generated the deity from the seed cause, in a completely perfect manner, with the pride of the Black Hero, the form is the one who completely holds, having abandoned one's own ripening, with many intentional mudras, there is the intention of going to the nose, that is the four mudras. The second mudra should be shown, whoever makes the samadhi very stable, just as the body, speech should also be known, the one who holds one's own awareness, thus contemplate and speak that mantra, holding that itself without acceptance or rejection, showing equality in that one alone, abandoning the words of worldly people, also not taking other holy ones, the secret mantra is single-minded, not transgressing to others, a stable union. With many intentional actions of speech, this goes before the mudra, it is said to be the four mudras of speech. Likewise, the third is explained thus, whoever meditates on the deity with scripture and, having known speech likewise, the mind also becomes stable in this way, one's own deity is not like oneself.
