The Great Perfection One Decision, Great Liberation Tantra. In the language of Oddiyana: Hrim Shta Dhu Ha Maha Na Mana Hwa. In Tibetan: The Great Perfection One Decision, Great Liberation Tantra. Homage to the Bhagavan, the spontaneously accomplished, unconditioned glorious Samantabhadra. Thus I have heard at one time, the Bhagavan, the great glorious spontaneously accomplished and unconditioned, in the palace of the realm of suchness, the Dharmadhatu, free from all elaborations, together with the self-arisen emanation Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, heroes, dakinis, and sentient beings who are none other than themselves, abiding in the state of spontaneous accomplishment of the equality of the three times. At that time, from within the assembly, from the radiance of the nature of great compassion, the one named Self-Arisen Wisdom Vajra arose as the questioner, and all the assembly, with one voice, requested the Bhagavan, saying: Emaho! Bhagavan, glorious spontaneously accomplished and unconditioned, Pervading all of samsara and nirvana without exception, Please explain the meaning of the self-arisen one decision Bodhicitta to the self-arisen assembly. Thus they requested. Then the Bhagavan, the glorious spontaneously accomplished and unconditioned, spoke: Listen, Kye ma! Assembly of self-arisen emanations, The Bodhicitta that pervades all of existence, Self-arisen wisdom is the great one decision, Although this is beyond the words that can express it, If it is not shown by expressive words, it will not be understood, Therefore, the inexpressible Dharma is shown by symbols, meanings, and words. If it is reversed, there is nothing to show, In the single intention of the Buddhas' minds, It is the showing of the self-arisen self's nature. Thus he spoke. Self-Arisen Wisdom Vajra again requested: The self-arisen one decision Bodhicitta itself, How does it show itself in its own nature? Please explain that meaning to the assembled gathering. Then the Bhagavan spoke: The self-arisen one decision Bodhicitta itself, From the way its essence, self-power, unceasingly arises, All appearances and existences arise as self-arisen forms. In short, there are three paths: awareness and unawareness, Self-arisen unawareness agitates the mind with afflictions, And sentient beings of self-grasping suffering samsara arise, Self-awareness, wisdom, the non-grasping realization, The selflessness of sorro

The Buddha appeared on earth. The means to realize the inseparability of samsara and nirvana, The vehicles of the path, outer, inner, and secret, arose. Those are shown by their own respective natures. In reality, all are because the mind-stream is one, The most secret, single cut is Atiyoga. The method of explaining that meaning is shown by "touch." To generate faith in individuals, history is told. To show the origin of the Dharma, it is explained by the root. Because different appearances arise, the vehicles are explained. To avoid those becoming detours, the purpose is explained. To liberate the purpose with meaning, the instructions are explained. To entrust the great qualities of that meaning, it is extensively explained. Thus, it was declared. From the Tantra of the Great Perfection, Single Cut, Great Liberation, the first chapter is the chapter of introduction and initiation. Self-Arisen Wisdom Vajra again requested: Emaho! Bhagavan, spontaneously accomplished, uncompounded glory! Self-arisen single cut, the nature of Bodhicitta. How is the initial history explained with meaning? What is the fault of not explaining? What is the merit of explaining? Please explain that meaning to the assembled retinue. Thus he requested. Then, the Bhagavan declared: Self-arisen single cut, the nature of Bodhicitta. If the initial history is not explained with meaning, For example, when a royal lineage holds the throne, If the royal lineage is not explained, the people will not believe. Similarly, in the self-arisen single cut, the nature of Bodhicitta, If the mind-stream is not explained, individuals will not believe. Just as explaining the royal lineage makes the people believe, Therefore, it is explained to generate faith in individuals. Initially, it is explained after the Dharmakaya contemplates with its mind. It is not seen after being shown, but contemplated with its own nature, Like sunlight shining into water. It is explained with the contemplation of blessing. The Sambhogakaya explains through the door of the body, It is not heard after being explained, but through the marks and signs, Like seeing a form and knowing its color. The meaning of the metaphor is explained through the door of each individual nature. The Nirmanakaya explains through the door of speech. It is not explained in many ways, but a single Brahma's voice is spoken. Like the sound of a lute, each individual language, It is explained after being spoken in a harmonious Dharma. Thus, the Buddhas explain with contemplation. The Bodhi Rigdzins explain with symbols. To the practitioner, it is explained with words. Did everything come from one mind-stream?
