The special samaya substances of the mothers are, fox heart, human heart, and the heart of a bluish sheep. Ḍākinī heart blood and amrita, and white and red bodhicitta are the best substances, they are the substances relied upon by the mothers. Furthermore, large meat and large fat, fruits, human king, flesh, blood, and heart. Great incense, smoke, large fat fire. Auspicious base, victory banner, parasol, and tormas with substances, grain alcohol, herbal alcohol, and collections of rakta. These are the supports for offering to the mothers. From the tantra called "The Owl-Faced One," extracted from the Heart Drop Essence, the sixteenth chapter on the corresponding substances of the mothers is complete. Then, the correct explanation should be given, explaining the signs and omens of the mothers. The best is to show the form, the supreme sound of speech. The intermediate is fire blazing, light radiating, and answering whatever the yogi asks. The worst is showing various dreams. Red, female, with fangs, waving a makara banner, this is the best of dream omens. If white appears, beneficial deeds will be accomplished. If yellow appears, enjoyment will increase. Sounds and clashes, a red wind rages, doors are struck, fire and light, doors and houses shake. All sorts of omens will occur. If there is nothing, no delusion will arise. Even if fear arises, remain equanimous. From the Tantra called "Extracting the Heart Essence," the Seventeenth Chapter, which shows signs and omens. In the north, smear the mandala with incense, on the black sheep prosperity-attracting cushion, spread three khal or three bre of black beans, on top of that place the great fulfilling and averting offering, in the center place fulfilling substances corresponding to wealth, in the south in the pit of the killing activity, in the east the practitioner himself resides.
