Thus I have heard, at one time, the Bhagavan, the King of Glorious Vajrabhairava, in the great charnel ground called Kishana, within a supremely blazing mansion, in the midst of a great ocean of blood, in a place where there were many corpses of the charnel ground, in a place where skulls were piled up, in a palace of piled-up skulls, in that extremely terrifying and hair-raising place surrounded by a city of piled-up skeletons, together with an inconceivable assembly of wrathful deities and wrathful mothers, and an inconceivable assembly of mamos and dakinis. For example, the wisdom mamos and the worldly mamos, and the messengers who carry out orders, and the inconceivable assembly of rakshasa wrathful mothers, are like this: The white assembly, the thief assembly, the ignorant assembly, the swollen assembly, the fierce assembly, the incinerator assembly, the whiskered assembly, and the retinue of mamos and so forth. The emanation women, the lion-faced mother assembly, the tiger-faced mother, the fox-faced mother, the wolf-faced mother, and also the vulture mother, the kite mother, the crow mother, the owl-headed ones and so forth, those who control flesh, blood, life, and breath, the lords of disease in the world, the lords of life-cutting, the daughters of demons and the assemblies of yaksha daughters, the assemblies of planetary daughters, the assemblies of rock rakshasa daughters, the assemblies of naga rakshasa daughters, and the accomplished, evil gods and demons and so forth, surrounded by an inconceivable number, were dwelling. At that time, from among those, the karma rakshasa woman who controls the life force of the world, also called the killing red flesh-eater, also called the rakshasa woman Light Cluster Shangkati, also called the red crocodile banner bearer, also called the great averter Pramoha, having circumambulated and made offerings to the Bhagavan Great Vajrabhairava hundreds and thousands of times, spoke thus: Ema, Hero, Lord of Compassion! 们。 业之轮回此世间， 唯有度脱慈悲主，祈请三界度脱之胜者，赐予度脱三有之权。如是祈请时，薄伽梵怖畏金刚，摄三界于权下，威伏三有。以身之光芒与语之音声，以及心之化身，令眷属生喜，如是宣说。谛听，有之忿怒母主，于三有世间一切处，不善之幻术杀戮众，非与教令相符之业。然于五百之末，摧毁教法之罗刹众，献汝为食与饮。乃是降伏誓魔之十地，故于命与气息施权。于与教令相符之瑜伽，行守护与降伏之一切事业。遣除并诛杀外道邪见之恶行，赐予诛杀之权。与义相符之瑜伽士，一切事业皆行之。如是宣说时，大魔母生起极大欢喜，如大吉祥者所宣说之教令般立誓，成为密咒之护法。眷属中安住之不可胜数之母众，亦以极大欢喜之心，赞颂薄伽梵，广作绕匝与供养，如是祈请。诶玛火，大吉祥饮血众，我等以业为母之象头女，于教令与修持之后，我等亦行事业，薄伽梵请于教令无碍，赐予与义相符之权。如是祈请时，薄伽梵对彼等眷属宣说，善哉善哉罗刹众，汝等所行之业与所显之分，守护神圣教法，调伏三宝之怨敌，护持有义之瑜伽士。如是说后极喜，成为持明之誓言者。 从心滴开采之续部中，名为猫头鹰面者，开篇之章，第一。

Those. This world of karmic cycles, Only the compassionate lord who liberates, Prays for the best of the three realms to be liberated, Grant the power to liberate the three existences. When thus prayed, the Bhagavan Vajrabhairava, Subdues the three realms under his power, Overwhelms the three existences with his might. With the rays of his body and the sound of his voice, And the emanations of his mind, he makes the retinue joyful, And speaks thus: Listen, chief of the wrathful mothers of existence, In all the three realms, The killing of inauspicious magical displays, Is not a deed in accordance with the command. However, at the end of the five hundred, The hordes of Rakshasas who destroy the teachings, Dedicate to you as food and drink. Since it is the ten grounds for subduing oath-breakers, Exercise power over life and breath. For the yoga that accords with the command, Perform all the deeds of protection and subjugation. Repel and kill the evil deeds of heretical wrong views, Grant the power to kill. Yogis who are in accordance with the meaning, Perform all the deeds without exception. When thus spoken, the great Rakshasi gave rise to great joy, Vowing in accordance with the command spoken by the Great Glorious One, And became the protector of the secret mantra. The countless mothers dwelling in the retinue, also with great joy in their hearts, Praised the Bhagavan, And made extensive circumambulations and offerings, and prayed thus: Emaho, great glorious blood-drinking assembly, We, the elephant-headed mother who works with karma, After the command and practice, We also perform deeds, Bhagavan, please do not hinder the command, Grant the power that accords with the meaning. When thus prayed, the Bhagavan spoke to those retinues, Well done, well done, assembly of Rakshasis, The work and destiny you have shown, Protect the sacred teachings, Subdue the enemies of the Three Jewels, Protect the yogis who are in accordance with the meaning. Having said this, they were very happy, And became the oath-bound ones of the vidyadharas.
