The two ornaments of obstacles, adorned with the Lord of Hosts and the charnel ground, at the joints of the limbs, adorned with rosaries made of human bones, strung together with the veins of the fields, is the sign of slaying the Lord of the Charnel Ground. On the shoulders, adorned with skulls, human bones, and broken bones, is that one becomes a Buddha in the present, thus the three skulls are the signs of the activities and realization of the Buddhas of the three times. The two back feet, the right foot extended, is that with great compassion one performs the deeds of benefiting beings. The left foot bent is that with wisdom one realizes the sphere of reality, but does not abide at the edge of nirvana. Alternatively, the two inner feet, the right foot bent, is that with great compassion one performs the deeds of benefiting beings, yet does not move from the sphere of dharma, it is the sign of not being stained by the edge of samsara. The left foot extended is that with great compassion one performs the deeds of benefiting beings, yet it is the sign of not moving from the sphere of dharma. Alternatively, the means of abandoning the four snares are, the signs of the four: loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity. The right foot bent is that with wisdom one does not abide at the edge of samsara. The left foot extended is the means, not abiding at the edge of nirvana. The left foot of the two back feet bent is that with means one does the benefit of beings, and does not move from the sphere of reality. The right foot slightly extended is that not abandoning the edge of samsara is wisdom.
