Purity means that the defilements of body, speech, and mind are completely purified, and the vajras of body, speech, and mind are completely adorned. Furthermore, there are many groups of Vajra youths, the Vajra assembly that plays in the Vajra, and also the assembly of yogis and yoginis that plays in the Vajra. Thus, the Vidyadharas and others, along with their retinues, princes, and consorts, are completely gathered by the infinite clouds. Then, all the Tathagatas completely gathered, and with the great offering clouds of the Vajra vow, they made offerings and prostrations to the Bhagavan, the great Lord of Terrifier, and with one voice they requested: All Buddhas of the three times, from the pinnacle of wisdom, for the unfolding of the realms of the three times, at the time when the Buddhas play, please explain the vow of subjugation that arises from the pinnacle of wisdom. Then, the Bhagavan, the glorious great Lord of Terrifier, smiled. Then, at that time, from among the assembled retinue, the secret lord Vajrapani the Unobstructed, with earnestness, rose from his seat, circumambulated the Bhagavan many times from the right, and after offering with great offering clouds, bared one shoulder, knelt on his right knee, joined his palms, and requested: Bhagavan, the Tathagatas do not smile without cause or condition, what is the reason for the Tathagata's smile today? Then, the Bhagavan, the glorious Vajra Terrifier, the great Lord, said to the great Vajrapani: Vajrapani, listen, the pinnacle of wisdom of all the Tathagatas, called the arising of suchness of the great secret mantra vow, is requested to be explained. That is the great vehicle that even the Buddhas of the past did not explain in detail, and that will be difficult to explain in the future. If this is explained, even the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, will be afraid, what to say of other Bodhisattvas and ordinary retinues? Therefore, I feel it is wonderful.

Thus, the Tathagatas also, with the samadhi called radiating light, diligently pursued equal power from the guide of beings. Similarly, looking at the great Bodhisattvas, he touched them with the rays called arising two benefits. They also obtained the samadhi called unobstructed Vajra fully playing, and were blessed as vessels of secret Vajra. Then, looking at the assembly of emanations and their retinues, he touched them with the rays called universally extended. They also became those who obtained the samadhi called subduer. Then, looking at the vehicles of the place of ignorance, he touched them with the rays called proclaiming the Great Vehicle, and all of them also became those who obtained the Vajra of the mind of enlightenment. Then, looking at the city dwellers of the six realms, he touched them with the rays called the one vehicle Vajra, and they also obtained the samadhi called touching is sacred.
