Before renunciation arises, without abandoning worldly dharmas, contemplate the meaning of conditioned cause and effect. Before seeing the truth of dharmata, without separating from the eight worldly dharmas, practice the meaning of dharmata with one-pointedness. Before knowing your own nature as one, without confusing your mind with samsara and nirvana, meditate on the meaningless bindu as one. Before knowing that everything is meaningless, without knowing the uselessness of vanity and fame, cut off all unrelated thoughts. The ultimate of Dharma transcends mind, before exhausting the meaning of names and words, do not create phrases and letters, do not look at the words, contemplate the meaning. Before exhausting all dharmas, do not understand without reliance, understand the inaction beyond mind. The Lotus Blossoming Tantra, the fifth chapter, the chapter on cutting off connections, is complete. Again, the retinue, including the Lady of Power, asked: O Lord of the Buddha's Speech, this union of appearance and emptiness, how should we view its nature of view? How should we meditate on its nature of meditation? How should we act on its nature of action? Thus they asked. The Lord of Speech replied: On the appearance of various objects, the two, memory and awareness, of the discriminating mind, unite clarity and emptiness, indivisibly. Before entering into the clinging to appearance and emptiness, view in a state of non-attachment. On the unarisen, unceasing self-nature, meditate in a state of no clarity or obscurity. Primordially, clarity and emptiness have no negation or affirmation, act in a state of no acceptance or rejection. Look clearly without obstructing the senses, look emptily without deliberately grasping, meditate fully and clearly without mixing, meditate habitually without discriminating clarity. This action has no doing, act without reliance, negation, or affirmation. The Lotus Blossoming Tantra, the sixth chapter, the chapter on practicing view, meditation, and action, is complete. Again they asked: How does experience arise? Thus they asked. The Lord of Speech again said: With clarity, eliminate the ignorance of equanimity, with non-discrimination, cut off the confusion of mind, with bliss, pacify the pain of mind. Clarity, non-discrimination, and bliss, are the nature of Dharma, also the one meaning. See the essence of mind, empty and clear, the ultimate of clarity has no elaboration, the nature of mind is free from the edge of discrimination, the ultimate of non-discrimination has no grasper or grasped, the mind has no memory of pain, the ultimate of bliss is free from hope and fear. With clarity, do not stray into nihilism, with non-discrimination, do not stray into eternalism, with bliss, do not stray into dualistic grasping, divid

Not falling into any side. The fault of not understanding this is: clinging to clarity, one gets lost in the form realm; clinging to non-thought, one gets lost in the formless realm; clinging to pleasure, one gets lost in the desire realm; if one clings to non-differentiation, one unknowingly gets lost in the gods of meditation. When experiencing in clarity, one obtains the Nirmanakaya without attachment or clinging; if one experiences non-thought, one obtains the Dharmakaya without clinging; if one experiences bliss, one obtains the Sambhogakaya without clinging; without clinging to anything, recognizing one's own nature, one also obtains the Svabhavikakaya; without any clinging to anything, one also obtains the immutable Vajrakaya. From the Padma Gyepa Gyü, the seventh chapter clarifying the faults of the way of realization. Furthermore, Wangmo and other attendants asked: O Lord of the speech of the Buddha, what is the recognition of inner and outer awareness? Having asked this, the Lord of Speech spoke again: Recognizing inner and outer objects, in the realm that is pure from the beginning, without fabrication, without defilement, without being made, one should realize it as spontaneously accomplished. At the time of benefiting beings, the deities arising from the four immeasurables: Loving-kindness, Wati, has faith in all; Compassion, Jamali plays; Joy, Bukhang accomplishes the purpose with joy; Equanimity, Logishvara protects. The four great self-born compassion, the first has no cause of arising, the middle has no support of abiding, the last is not destroyed by conditions. Like the Khenpo who practices view and meditation, the deity made by one's own mind, that deity resides in one's own mind. Because it is not established from the mind, it is emptiness, free from elaboration, spontaneously accomplished. Knowing and clear, yet without any object of designation, the essence is emptiness, the nature is clear. Vast and without limit, it is not an end. Shape and color cannot be examined. The inner and outer essence is emptiness, from the inner nature of clarity, without differentiation, emptiness and clarity are free from grasping. That unchanging essence of emptiness is the wisdom of unborn Dharmakaya, the wisdom of unceasing perfect Sambhogakaya, various unceasing appearances arise as Nirmanakaya. From the Padma Gyepa Gyü, the eighth chapter showing the recognition of inner and outer awareness. Again, Wangmo and other attendants asked: How is the culmination of such realization? Having asked this, the Lord of Speech replied: Various thoughts appear in oneself, cause and effect are nowhere, beyond the mind, empty.
