Thus [ends] the Root Tantra of the Practice of Worldly Offerings and Praises. In Sanskrit: Loka Stotra Puja Tantra Nama Nopika Santakam. In Tibetan: The Root Tantra of the Practice of Worldly Offerings and Praises. Homage to the Bhagavan Vajradhara! Thus have I heard: At one time, the Bhagavan, the very nature of the body, speech, and mind of all the Tathagatas, the great secret Vajradhara, who perfectly accomplishes all the activities of the body, speech, and mind of all the Buddhas of the three times without exception, possessing power, strength, fearlessness, and dominion, terrifying with his form, fierce, violent, arrogant, powerful, and swiftly subduing those who are difficult to endure, having extracted the essence of the mind of all the Sugatas from that very nature, the chief of the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, who has fully entered the great earth, the great lord of the races of the powerful gods belonging to the desire realm and the form realm, the great leader of the yakshas of the place of Willow (place name) and the place of Mount Meru, he dwells in the palace of the king of the gods in Akanishta, emanating various rays of light that are the emanations of the body, speech, and mind of the Buddhas who abide in the three times, and urges with these words: O, O Secret Lord Vajradhara! You are the one whom all the Buddhas have entrusted to protect the supreme teachings, the lord of power and strength, having beheld that great oath, from the secrets of body, speech, and mind, take out the terrifying one who causes terror, the fierce speech of the supreme body, with the power of the fierce mind, in order to subdue all the difficult to tame, through the activity of the first emanation of the emanation, please enjoy the previous mind vow. As soon as he was urged in this way, the Bhagavan knew that the time had come to perform the activities of the Buddhas, and although his own body, speech, and mind did not move from the peaceful nature of reality, he looked upon the violent ones and others who were to be subdued, the ten directions and the world realms equal to the limits of space without exception.
