I pray with a voice! O glorious Lord Hayagriva! Please explain in detail to the retinue the root sadhana, activities, and the sequence of fierce actions. Having requested thus, the Bhagavan explained the root activity. In order to protect the sacred teachings, I compose the method of accomplishing the great powerful lotus. Rely on a teacher who possesses power and warmth. With diligence, accomplish it single-mindedly. On a red rocky mountain in a charnel ground, the western mountain is high and majestic, the eastern mountain is low. The dense forest faces west. The sky resembles an eight-petaled lotus. The sun, moon, planets, and stars shine brightly, and all rivers and mountains converge there. Make tsa-tsas, give offerings, and recite sutras. Do as much virtuous deeds as possible. On a great ashen mountain in a charnel ground, make a mandala one cubit long and triangular. Smear the four sides with blood. Place a vase of accomplished medicine and nectar. Draw the mandala and arrange the ornaments. In the center, place a lotus bhānḍa, with mature men and young women. Various flowers, the color of lotus. Surround the edges of the five continents with a circular red silk. Seal it with Hūṃ (藏文：ཧཱུྃ།，梵文天城体：हुं，梵文罗马拟音：hūṃ，汉语字面意思：吽) and pour in nectar. In the western gate, gather grains and meat. Arrange various flowers and tormas. Nectar, rakta, ta-phyi, and the five offerings. Hang banners, umbrellas, garlands, and arrange bone flutes, incense, and human bones. Draw the deity on charnel ground cloth, consecrate it, and arrange it in the west. Having thus completely perfected the substances, instantly, through samadhi, transform yourself into the form of a lotus blood-drinker. From the heart, rays of light emanate, forming a tent of fierce deities with fire and weapons in the ten directions. Having thus clarified, set the boundaries. Hūṃ (藏文：ཧཱུྃ།，梵文天城体：हुं，梵文罗马拟音：hūṃ，汉语字面意思：吽)! From the unbearable mandala of great glory, the burning wrathful one, flames ablaze. Holding various cruel weapons, reduce obstacles and evil spirits to dust. The great powerful fire, burning red and black, like the fire at the end of an aeon. Powerful weapons are piled up like rocks, cutting and liberating whatever they strike. The great powerful wrathful one, unbearable and terrifying, manifests the wheel of primordial wisdom. Whoever transgresses the boundaries of the great power, may they be destroyed like particles of dust. Then, in the sky in front, invite the yidam deities to come, and perform any confession of sins and obscurations. Then bless the offerings. Purify with Raṃ (藏文：རཾ།，梵文天城体：रं，梵文罗马拟音：raṃ，汉语字面意思：壤) and increase with A (藏文：ཨ།，梵文天城体：अ，梵文罗马拟音：a，汉语字面意思：阿). Bless the outer offerings as the five goddesses. Bless the inner offerings as desirable objects and enjoyments.

From the union of the father and mother, without duality, The mandala of emanation is thoroughly established. From the tantra of the Lotus Great Empowerment Wrathful Secret, The third chapter, which is the creation of the mandala of samaya.
