The Tantra of the Qualities of the Glorious Lotus Great Empowerment, Subduing Arrogance and Protecting the Wheel. In Sanskrit: Śrīpadmamahéśvaraduṣṭarakṣitanirākṛtaṃguṇatantranāma (श्रीपद्ममहेश्वरदुष्टरक्षितनिराकृतंगुणतन्त्रनाम). In Tibetan: དཔལ་པདྨ་དབང་ཆེན་དྲེགས་པ་སྲུང་བཟློག་ཡོན་ཏན་གྱི་རྒྱུད་ཅེས་བྱ་བ། (The Tantra of the Qualities of the Glorious Lotus Great Empowerment, Subduing Arrogance and Protecting the Wheel). Homage to the assembly of deities of the spontaneously accomplished great mandala of the nine Buddhas. Thus have I heard at one time. The Bhagavan, the essence of the vajra of body, speech, and mind of all the Tathagatas, the master of all qualities and activities, resided in the bhaga of the vajra consort of all the Tathagatas, in the great bliss inseparable from the three times. From that place, together with an inexpressible number of retinue, they resided, namely: the Sugata Dakini, the Vajra Dakini, the Ratna Dakini, the Padma Dakini, the Karma Dakini, the Various Dakinis, and the six great Dakinis. Furthermore, there were eight great conjoined blind ones, namely: the Akshobhya conjoined blind one, the Vajra conjoined blind one, the Ratnakara glorious holder conjoined blind one, the Ratna conjoined blind one, the Amitayus conjoined blind one, the Padma conjoined blind one, the Inevitable Accomplishment conjoined blind one, and the Path conjoined blind one. The Bodhisattvas who emanated as two by two from the four families of the Victorious Ones, subduing beings in the guise of heroes. Furthermore, there were sixty blind attendants, namely: fifteen blind ones of the Sugata Vajra family, fifteen blind ones of the Sugata Ratna family, fifteen blind ones of the Sugata Padma family, and fifteen blind ones of the Sugata Karma family. The Bodhisattvas of the four families emanated in the form of heroes, benefiting sentient beings. Furthermore, there were eight flesh-eating glorious dogs, surrounded by ten dogs emanated from wisdom. Furthermore, there were four great gatekeepers, namely: because they possess the nine great vehicles, they have a single leg with nine stacked heads, and the eight liberations.

Because it possesses, it has eight heads, eight hands, and eight feet; because it possesses six wisdoms, it has six heads, six hands, and six feet; because it possesses body, speech, and mind, it has three heads, three hands, and three feet; furthermore, the emanated fire dragon, wind dragon, and also the emanated red-handed iron hook wielder, etc., are all emanated and abide from the great bliss space of the venerable mother Padmagzildenma for the benefit of beings. Then, the mother Padmagzildenma urged with this vajra song: From the ultimate reality, the unelaborated Dharmata, through the difference of illusion between awareness and unawareness, the source of play is samsara and nirvana. By the power of karma, the arrogant ones abide in the three realms. In order to show the great difference of the great powerful one, having subdued all the arrogant ones, now is the time to protect the Buddha's teachings. From the non-conceptual Dharmakaya, take the mudra, thus urged.
