Padmasambhava, Vajra Totreng Tsal. While meditating in the cave named Sengchen in the valley of Ugyen Slagsha Sha, the gods and demons circumambulated him daily, and the dakinis prophesied. Then, in central Tibet, when King Bodhisattva Trisong Detsen requested the construction of Samye Monastery, the gods and demons prevented its construction. When asked what to do, the teacher Bodhisattva said, "Padmasambhava of Ugyen is in India. If he is invited, he can subdue the gods and demons." So he sent for him. The teacher, knowing this through his clairvoyance, met him on the way to Samye, and there he subdued the arrogant ones, and Samye Monastery was naturally completed.
