Offer with the remaining substances, and ask for forgiveness for the uncleansed karma. Request the fire god to return. Then ask for forgiveness from the deities of the mandala: Ignorant beings like us, through body, speech, and mind, have violated vows through unconscious actions, and have contradicted the minds of the Buddhas, who are like the ocean. We ask you, who possess great compassion, for forgiveness. Your compassion is equal to the edge of the sky. For the benefit of beings, we ask for the granting of Brahma. In this way, confess and ask for forgiveness. This is the eighth chapter, which completes the remaining and deficient aspects of fierce actions. Then perform the ritual of suppression: Place a large skull or pig's head into the pit of the homa furnace. Inside the skull, place the names and remains of enemies and obstructors. On a blue cloth, draw a wheel in the center, crosses in the four directions, and Mount Meru in the four corners, and then suppress it. The words are: Suppress, suppress with the majesty of Mount Meru. Pierce, pierce the spokes of the wheel. Throw, throw into the depths of the ocean. Give, give to the yakshas as food. Entrust, entrust to the hands of Yama. Below five hundred yojanas, Yama is teaching the Dharma, listen to the Dharma in front of him. Before the mind of enlightenment arises, do not give up anything. When the mind of enlightenment arises, then liberate from that evil state. oṃ laṃ suṃ laṃ praṃ laṃ (藏文:ཨཱོཾ་ལཾ་སུཾ་ལཾ་པྲཾ་ལཾ།,梵文天城体:ओँ लं सुं लं प्रं लं,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ laṃ suṃ laṃ praṃ laṃ,汉语字面意思:oṃ laṃ suṃ laṃ praṃ laṃ). prati ta nan (藏文:པྲ་ཏི་ཏ་ནན།,梵文天城体:प्रति त नन्,梵文罗马拟音:prati ta nan,汉语字面意思:prati ta nan). biyi ya sumbhaya (藏文:བྱི་ཙི་ཡ་སུཾ་བྷ་ཡ།,梵文天城体:बिचि य सुम्भय,梵文罗马拟音:biyi ya sumbhaya,汉语字面意思:biyi ya sumbhaya). mohaya (藏文:མོ་ཧཱ་ཡ།,梵文天城体:मोहय,梵文罗马拟音:mohaya,汉语字面意思:bewilder). ghaṭaya (藏文:གྷ་ཏ་ཡ།,梵文天城体:घटय,梵文罗马拟音:ghaṭaya,汉语字面意思:cause to happen). baga mani paca laṃ laṃ laṃ (藏文:བག་མ་ནི། པ་ཙ་ལཾ་ལཾ་ལཾ།,梵文天城体:बग मानि पच लं लं लं,梵文罗马拟音:baga mani paca laṃ laṃ laṃ,汉语字面意思:baga mani paca laṃ laṃ laṃ). māraṇa nan nan nan (藏文:མཱ་ར་ཎ་ནན་ནན་ནན།,梵文天城体:मारण नन् नन् नन्,梵文罗马拟音:māraṇa nan nan nan,汉语字面意思:killing nan nan nan). This is the ninth chapter on suppression in fierce actions. From the Vajra Corpse Mother Tantra, the wrathful actions are completed. Then, glorious Vajrasattva spoke about performing homa in the manner of the four actions. First, according to the color of the action being performed, transform into the great mudra and protect the place. Bless the upper and lower four directions, and in order to prevent obstacles from arising until the action being performed is completed, demarcate a boundary within one yojana, so that demons cannot cross it. Prepare the offering implements, and arrange the divine food, torma, debt-repayment torma, and the aids for fire offerings, including flour, butter, medicine, perfume, and so on. Prepare the homa implements, first make the fire invisible, invite the noble ones, make offerings, offer torma, and dedicate.

He is not pleased until the karma is exhausted, but the outer offering pleases immediately. To those below the noble ones and those included in the outer offering, say this: Today, summon all harm-doers and request them to perform the fire offering. Cut off the actions of benefit and harm. Until the activity is completed, do not depart, but assist in accomplishing it. I also visualize in the same way. Dig a three-sided fire pit according to the measurements. Make a mandala with a rim around the mouth, about one cubit wide. Apply dark blue color, and on top of that, draw radiant light with red color. On one three-sided stone, write ཨཱོཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ओँ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om), ཨཱཿ (Tibetan, Devanagari: आः, Romanized Sanskrit: āḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Ah), ཧཱུྃ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) on each corner, and place it at the bottom of the fire pit. Then, split fresh wood such as juniper, Rhododendron, fir, sandalwood, cypress, and Thangshing into a bundle, each piece about one cubit long, and prepare it together with dry fuel wood. Stuff these woods upright into the fire pit, and recite the essence of blessing: ཨཱོཾ་ཧི་ས་ (Tibetan, Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit:, Literal Chinese meaning: Om Hi Sa) at least one hundred and eight times, up to thirty times, while stuffing the wood. Place a small amount of cinder from the stuffing in the center of the fuel wood, and seal the opening with black leather or black cloth. Light the fire, attach a black flag to an arrow, combine it with the appearance of the fire, and reveal a seed syllable about the size of a thumb. Pour water into the three corners of the fire pit. If the fire is strong, fill it with water. If it is not strong, fill it to the point where it does not touch the fire, or half full or less. Say "Haha Haha" three times, and visualize the black fire god and his retinue coming, feeling pleased and radiant. From the east, invite the white fire god, with a white-yellow body, wearing a hair knot, holding a white banner in his hand, riding a yellow mule. From the south, invite the black fire god Agni, with a blue body, three heads, hair knotted forward, holding a five-pronged vajra in his hand, riding a blue one-horned mule. From the west, invite the red fire god, wearing a hair knot, holding a white banner in his hand, riding a wooden chariot. From the north, invite the green fire god, with a large belly, holding a staff in his hand, riding a blue sheep with horns coiled to the right. Visualize these fire gods being drawn from the four directions with iron hooks, flames blazing from their bodies, descending into the fire pit, uttering the sounds of ཧཱུྃ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) and ཕཊ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: फट, Romanized Sanskrit: phaṭ, Literal Chinese meaning: Phat) from their mouths, and saying "Haha Haha," with flames blazing from their bodies and mouths, descending to bestow blessings.
