It is said to be self-nature. Moreover, it is naturally self-arisen from the beginning. Because it is great wisdom itself, it has not become non-existent or empty. It arises as one thinks. For example, like the wish-fulfilling jewel, although it does not always appear, it arises as desired and needed. The nature of the mind is similar to that. Because of mistakenly clinging to the object of characteristics, habits arise. No matter what one thinks, it is neither constant nor certain. Therefore, it is called conditioned dharma. Therefore, all compounded dharmas, the teachings of the Sugata Samantabhadra, hearing one word can attain Buddhahood, and searching for samsara cannot be found. The teachings of Samantabhadra, which gather all Buddhas, are like the sky and do not change. Like the sun of wisdom, clarity has no rising or setting. Because it is originally so, there is no grasping or understanding. Because it is spontaneously accomplished, there is no change. Because it is so certain, meditate without distraction. All the dharmas that appear, cannot be expressed in words. The great perfection of the pith instructions is originally liberated, and originally enlightened in great bliss. The Bodhicitta that will never change, is unmade and spontaneously accomplished from the beginning. Abide in it without effort and without fabrication. As specially spoken, it becomes the gathering of the meaning of all Buddhas. From the tantra that gathers the intention of all the Tathagatas, the first chapter. Then, to specifically express the nature of all Buddhas, Emaho! The phenomena of appearance and non-appearance, the cause of existence and non-existence, permanence and annihilation, the words of delusion of Buddhas and sentient beings, the path of error of happiness and suffering, like illusions and mirages, nothing is established but appears. Likewise, all phenomena, all are similar to such dharmas, all that appears in this way, from the nature of the Buddhas themselves, there is no need to seek from other Buddhas. Wrong effort is the path of error, although definitely indicated, it is not understood. The worldly people who are ignorant of their own nature, have no time for liberation and suffer. I have not said that is liberation. Therefore, the nature of the Buddhas, the three of mind, dharma, and space, originally unmade, knowing its meaning, that is the nature of the Buddhas. All that appears in this way, originally in the nature of the mind, not adding or subtracting with words and letters, not seeking, not fabricating, abiding in bliss, originally.

The Buddha-nature is like the sky, unchanging. If you hear this unwavering certainty, no effort is needed for Buddha-nature. In mind, dharma, and sky, such words and letters, Samantabhadra, I have not found. That itself is Buddha-nature. It is not existent, yet not annihilated; it is clear within meditative absorption. Clear, unmixed, the meaning is clear, Transform freely as you wish. In the vastness of the dharma-nature, like the sky, your own wisdom expands, Like a great garuda soaring in the sky, you go wherever you think. As the teachings of Samantabhadra arise, even the name of wrong view does not exist. Like transforming desire into a rain of jewels, it arises as you think in your mind. Like the light rising in the darkness.
