Thus, it goes around and around without stopping. When the weather is warm, Due to the causes of warmth and moisture, It grows naturally without sowing seeds, Like a sprout bearing fruit. When sentient beings gather together, Due to the causes and conditions of karma and afflictions, All the realms of the Bardo, Not created by another, By the consciousness that grasps self and other, The birth of name and form existence, To the newly appearing senses, The appearance of grasping there is called birth, Naming it is actually an illusion. Suffering arises from clinging to "I", Aging, sickness, weakening, and changing. When life, warmth, and life force cease, The previous stage disappearing is called death, It's just a false name and a real illusion. The boundary between birth and death, Is called the Bardo, the connecting point. Like the habits of the past life, like a dream, Attachment, impure desire, anger, and delusion. Like the near-taking of the future life, like magic, Birth is taken by the pull of craving. This life, the afterlife, and the Bardo are a cycle, Like a seed producing a sprout, A sprout producing fruit and the seed turning around, Self-arising, self-caused, self-cycling. The cause of one's own mind being virtuous or non-virtuous, The self-cause at the time of death generates hatred, The Bardo enters that path, The next life is reborn in hell. Even if born as a human, it is the same principle. Likewise, desire is reborn as a human, Miserliness is reborn as a hungry ghost, ignorance as an animal, Jealousy manifests in the Asura realm, Pride is reborn in the Deva realm. In the interval between birth and death, It usually lasts for seven days, The longest can be seventy-seven days, The formless gods and the uninterrupted are fast. The consciousness like unobstructed wind, Complete with habits and senses, Reborn as a god, looking upwards, as a human, looking to the right, The Asura's head looks to the left, Animals and hungry ghosts look downwards, Hell falls headfirst. The five paths of rebirth rotate in turn, Rebirth occurs when similar causes and conditions are complete, When causes and conditions are not complete, it is the Bardo, Death occurs when obstructing causes arise. Going from one place to another, It is not the place that is in cyclic existence, Like a silkworm wrapped in its saliva, Binding itself with its own body, One's own mind of ignorance is cyclic existence. Outside of cyclic existence, there is not even a speck of dust, Virtuous deeds continue, happiness cycles, Suffering continues, suffering cycles, Whatever karma and causes and conditions are complete, that cycles.

Constantly revolving in ignorance, Nirvana is attained when samsara ceases. In one mindstream, two do not arise. Non-dual wisdom, through ignorance, All afflictions are samsara, The suffering of samsara is self-manifestation. From the teachings of all Buddhas, In the supreme foundation, the accumulation of precious jewels, The fifth chapter, which teaches that the suffering of samsara in ignorance is constant and unceasing. From beginningless time, due to habitual tendencies, Various kinds of conceptualizations arise, Colors of white, yellow, red, green, and blue, Heaviness, lightness, ripeness, gathering, scattering, Earth, water, fire, wind, and space, And the six realms of consciousness, Outer, inner, and within, nine appearances, Without a maker, self-manifesting. Six objects, through the consciousness of the senses, Thinking, discriminating, accepting, rejecting, and equanimity, In the outer, inner, and intermediate three places, Having seen eighteen kinds of conceptualizations, All the realms of afflictions arise. Abandoning mind, stinging pain is hatred, Its causes and conditions are self-manifestation, From that, the hell realm arises, The self-nature of painful karma arises. Accomplishing mind, attachment is desire, The karmic result of its causes and conditions is, The creation of the cities of human beings. Through the power of craving, attachment, affliction, and miserliness, The self-nature of hungry ghosts, all beings, arises. Equanimity, grasping, and ignorance, From that, the realms of animals arise. In 'mine,' definite knowledge arises, Pride creates all beings of the gods. Through jealousy of conceptualizing others, The beings of the asuras arise from that. Alas, this conceptualization of duality, Attachment to it and suffering, Hatred, equanimity, and ignorance, Craving and attachment to 'I' and 'mine,' The six afflictions that constantly bind, In the place, the self-continuum revolves in ignorance. This suffering of arising, conventional truth, The ultimate nature is not like that. Pure, selfless Dharma, Is the Dharma-nature that pervades all, If those afflictions were not like that, Why would sentient beings wander in samsara? If that purity were not like that, Why would the Buddhas be liberated? If one realizes spontaneous perfection, unchanging, The pure wisdom, the realm of Dharma. Impure, all the afflictions, Gods die, transmigrate, and fall, Humans experience birth, aging, sickness, and death, Asuras struggle and suffer in karma, Animals are used, killed, and slaughtered, Hungry ghosts are tormented by hunger and thirst.

Acting. Suffering the heat and cold pains of hell. The suffering of karma is inconceivable. Afflictions are like being pierced by an arrow. Suffering is like being carried away by a flood. Attachment is like sinking in a swamp. Delusion is like a wild animal caught in a net. There is no other actor, it is involuntary. The wisdom of no-self is very small. From the supreme and precious collection of the root tantra, the teachings of all Buddhas. The sixth chapter on universal defilement is complete. From beginningless time, self and other. The power of grasping and the grasped arises from conditions. Negative motivation accumulates karma.
