The Tantra of Immaculate Like the Sun and Moon, the Great Perfection of the Mind of Enlightenment That Cuts Off the Root of Samsara from All Dharmas. In Sanskrit: Sarvadharma Mahasanti Bodhicitta Samsara Mula Chedana Surya Chandra Sama Amala Tantra. In Tibetan: The Tantra of Immaculate Like the Sun and Moon, the Great Perfection of the Mind of Enlightenment That Cuts Off the Root of Samsara from All Dharmas. Homage to the Bhagavan Samantabhadra Raja. At one time when this was being taught, in the sky of dharmata, in the expanse of essence itself, in the wisdom that is immaculate and pure, in the palace of the dharmadhatu, the Bhagavan glorious Samantabhadra, vast like the sky, unborn, free from seeking, was dwelling in the expanse of wisdom free from elaboration. The retinue of his own self-appearing awareness consisted of the three kayas, the five wisdoms, the three realms, the five elements, the three times, the five poisons, the seventeen appearances, and so forth; everything from form up to omniscience was the retinue. Then Vajrasattva petitioned, "Emaho Bhagavan! In the essence of wisdom, the sun and moon, is there impurity of samsara or not? This net of grasping mind, how should it be cut off from the root? All the various phenomena that appear, if gathered together, into how many types are they gathered?" The Bhagavan said, "Listen, Vajrasattva, listen! Sky, sun, moon, camphor, crystal, in the basis of all that is undifferentiated, this appearance due to the power of causes and conditions is primordially immaculate and completely pure. Realize, Vajrasattva, realize! Six syllables, six meanings, six powers, six great ones and six bindus cut the net of the six realms of samsara. Meditate, Vajrasattva, meditate! All the various phenomena that are objects of dharma, because they are of one taste in the nature of dharma, are gathered into the bindu that is vast, pervasive, and all-encompassing." Vajrasattva again petitioned, "Ema Bhagavan, Great All-Doer! I pay homage to the one who cuts off the beginning and the end. Condensed, expanded, and greatly expanded, exceedingly expanded and completely expanded, the one who teaches with five sets of six, from the play of compassion and means, I beseech the teacher to teach me." From the Tantra of Immaculate Like the Sun and Moon, the first chapter, the introduction. Then the Bhagavan said, "Various natures, not two, but as a part

Free from elaboration. Although not thinking "as it is." Vairochana Samantabhadra. Having grasped, abandoning the sickness of effort. Abiding naturally, therefore established. From the tantra that is like the sun and moon, without stain, the second chapter, the six vajra words. Then, the Bhagavan spoke: Dharma and mind are primordially non-dual. If the nature of mind is sought but not found, then it cannot be shown to others as "like this." Dharma and mind are nothing at all. Therefore, when meditating, do not meditate on anything. Whatever characteristics of conceptual thought may arise, if you know that thought itself is dharmata, then you do not need to seek the essence of dharma from elsewhere. It cannot be conquered or refuted by an opponent. Thus, all aspects of the three times, not straying from oneself, is the dharmakaya. If it becomes power, then there is no worldly nature. With compassionate emanation,

Will deceive you with false value. From the Stainless Tantra Equal to the Sun and Moon, the chapter on effortlessly accomplishing the six activities, which is the fourth. Then, the Bhagavan spoke: The Dharmakaya that does not abide anywhere and is without object, the meaning of the essence of non-elaborate Bodhicitta, the Great Bliss Emanation is non-dual, do not seek it from elsewhere, but it arises from oneself. Sever attachment and abide in peace, because there is no substance, completely abandon it. In the nature of great nectar, it does not depend on the method of eating. Vast, oh great Dharma! It is the refuge of the small. If you equalize the aspect of aiming at the great, then those small ones will be free from aim. Speech, expansion, aim, and appearance, are like the forms of a magician's drawing. Arising, entering, wisdom, dullness, and bewilderment, arise from its power. Let go, abide, the nature abides. There is no desire, and there is no taking. Not even a speck of agitation arises, like a great garuda soaring in the sky. There is no scattering, and there is no gathering. There is no fear of losing, and there is no eating. Separated from the object of eating, there is no hope or fear. In the eternally abiding state like the ocean, various dharmas arise. Qualities are equal to the limit of space, there is no certainty as to where to gather. Immediately upon Bodhicitta, the great king of samadhi arises. Appearance is like a great ocean, non-conceptual, vast like the limit of space. In the realm of Samantabhadra's activity, there is no place for birth, aging, sickness, and death. Even the twelve links of dependent origination are taught in a way of denigration. For those who are deluded, it is only an entrance, the wise should understand it in that way. Teaching the six realms of beings should also be understood as the path of faith. When the enjoyment of desire is moistened by compassion, wherever there is joy, practice Bodhi. Butcher, prostitute, the five inexpiable sins, abandon the evils of the world. In a completely perfect way, become the root of the Dharma, there is nothing other than great bliss. Or, if the dharmas are like that, that is the nature of the dharmas. When a dharma seeks a dharma, it is like space seeking space, relying on relative dharmas, it is like fire extinguishing fire, it is very joyful to obtain. This non-conceptual essence is not hidden in all the tantras. For those who practice Bodhi without taking or rejecting, appearance exists as it is everywhere. From the Stainless Tantra Equal to the Sun and Moon, the Vast Chapter.
