Acting purely with previous virtues. Seeing the pleasures of this life in the desire realm, as the cause of attachment and craving, desiring to abandon it, attached to meditation, connecting with attachment, born into the Brahma race. With joy, serving as the vanguard of Brahma, due to having altruistic intentions, becoming Mahabrahma. The small, medium, and large meditations, accompanied by delusion, are samsara. Clearly distinguishing the meaning, is the path of the noble ones. All of them are born miraculously, adorned with clothes, with patience, having beautiful forms, complete with merit. The body size of the Brahma race is half a yojana, one yojana, two yojanas gradually completing. A pure land of various jewels and light, without high or low, is equality. The immeasurable great palace of Brahma, surpasses all the jewels of the desire realm. That light cannot be obscured by anyone, the sweet sound of Dharma is constant. There are no names of male or female, although possessing immeasurable enjoyment, there is no desire, being in a state of bliss. Free from sleep and the distinction of day and night, enjoying the delight of meditation as food. All are endowed with miraculous powers and light, seeing the desire realm as a place of suffering. The sun is like a firefly, this king of Brahma, encourages the Buddhas to turn the wheel of Dharma. Therefore, called the lord of the Sahā world, is a particularly supreme deity. Seeing inverted things as inverted. The gods of the form realm commonly possess, complete bodies, clothes, and palaces, up to Akanistha. The uncommon difference of meditation, the higher is more supreme than the lower. The second meditation cultivates non-conceptualization, born in the Lesser Light realm, surpassing the previous. The size of the body is four yojanas, with joy and delight cultivating meditation, eight yojanas, Immeasurable Light realm. Extremely excellent, Radiant Light realm. The body has sixteen yojanas. The dwelling of these beings has no substantial grasping, is a palace made of light. Enjoying extremely great joy and bliss in meditation, having satisfaction, having outflows. From then on, free from attachment to joy and bliss, with mindfulness and focused awareness, cultivating the meaning of the third meditation. Small merit is given, immeasurable merit is obtained. Having obtained giving, merit increases and grows. The size of the body gradually becomes thirty-two, pleasure one hundred and twenty-eight. With the solitude of meditation, whatever is thought is accomplished. In the incomparable palace of light, living in undiminishing bliss. Because of not being separated from the realization of self-nature, the grasping and the grasped, afflictions

Ing na zhen. Exhaustion of outflows is the noble path, The four dhyanas are the cause of birth, Meditate without moving the assembly of thoughts. Born without heat, the measure of the body, Two hundred and fifty yojanas. That same habituation power gives rise to merit, The body has five hundred yojanas. Immutable, great base, great fruit, The body has five hundred yojanas. The body has a thousand yojanas, Afflictions lie dormant within. Because one has not separated from worldly conceptualization, When the power of merit and karma is exhausted, Afflictions arise and one spends time. Understanding the meaning, one travels the dhyana noble path. Dhyana without wisdom, Like a blind person dwelling on a precipice, Like dwelling in the Dharma without falling, One falls into the abyss of existence's evil realms. All the gods dwelling in dhyana, Are only temporary happiness, It is dhyana that reverts to samsara. One type of god of the fourth dhyana, Stops perception and practices solitude, They think that is nirvana. When consciousness awakens, And one makes connections with returning to the world, Hungry ghosts wandering in the sky, Long-lived gods are born in Avici. The eight states of no leisure are beings, One does not obtain liberation through false dhyana. The five pure abode gods, By being separated from afflicted outflows, Arising from generosity and other virtues, Dhyana is connected with wisdom. Whether the portion of afflictions is large or not, The small portion of afflictions does not torment.
