This was finalized by the great translator of Zhuchen, Kawa PalTsek. In Sanskrit: Ratna Rasa Ati Hridaya Adi Anta Rajju Chheda Prapancha Chheda Mula Tantra. (梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) In Tibetan: Precious Essence of the Heart, Cutting the Rope of Beginning and End, Cutting Away Proliferation, Root Tantra. Homage to the Bhagavan Great Glorious Samantabhadra! Thus have I heard. At one time, in a realm of jewels, in the expanse of wisdom, in a mandala not made by hands, in a place without beginning or end, in a palace where manifold rays of jewels blazed everywhere, the King of Teachers, beyond thought and expression; the King of Teachers, beyond names and without objects; the King of Teachers, the Mind itself, Samantabhadra, the three of them were present in a manner without separation. The retinue was also like this: A retinue like the display of power, a retinue of the arising of power, inconceivable awareness, a retinue of mind, thought, and accumulation of thoughts, beyond conception; these three are the retinue of the ground of self-nature. Furthermore, the retinue was like this: the retinue of self-nature, the retinue of meaning, the retinue of the body of desire. The Bodhisattva of the cause, the Bodhisattva of the path, the Bodhisattva of the result, and so forth, were present together. Then Vajrasattva addressed the Mind itself, Samantabhadra, as follows: All the Buddhas of speech, having exhausted the meaning of the cause, do not speak of the vehicle of the result that is not produced by cause and conditions. Do you not possess the wisdom of compassion? All the Buddhas of essence, having exhausted the meaning of the path, do not speak of the uncreated result. Has the wisdom of compassion vanished? All the Buddhas of mind, having exhausted the vehicle of the result, do not speak of that which transcends cause and result. Does unobstructed compassion not arise? For the fortunate ones like jewels, open the door of speech that transcends cause and result! Having thus requested, then the Mind itself, Samantabhadra, spoke to the assembled retinue: All the Buddhas of speech, your wisdom is self-nature. Unceasingly, the display of power, wisdom, arises. All the Buddhas of body, wisdom, clear light.
