Ground without hatred. The five poisons not grown, originally unknowing. Illusory emptiness, manifested by the environment. You appear as a tenth-ground Bodhisattva. The five families, five bodies, not abandoning the bardo. Looking up and looking down, from the boundary. Illusory self-liberation, realizing the heart essence. Vajrasattva is the Dharmakaya. Using illusion as illusion is the Sambhogakaya. Illusion is unobstructed, showing everything. The Nirmanakaya shows the six Munis. The final Vajradhara. With compassion, the vehicles in order of capacity. Combined with wisdom, reveals the heart essence. Thus it is said. From the Vajratop Heart Essence Tantra, the third chapter, which explains the principle of attaining Buddhahood in three bodies from the separation of samsara and nirvana. Then, Vajrasattva asked again: "Amazing! Amazing! Teacher Vajradhara. If the three bodies attain Buddhahood in this way, Why do these sentient beings of the six realms and three worlds Cycle through samsara? How do they cycle?" Thus he asked. Samantabhadra Buddha replied: "Listen, Bodhisattva Dakini. The heart essence is self-born, appearing as light. The nature of the heart essence is self-born. Moves, thoughts, and attachments settle into habits. The grasped and the grasper, with the five poisons of greed and hatred, Cycle in the two, life and heart essence. Buddha's wisdom is the fault of samsara. Afflictions bind themselves. For example, the silk of a worm, The worm binds its own limbs. Desiring happiness brings suffering. Not accumulating sins, yet cycling in samsara. Karma and the fruits of karma arise. Bound by the four: movement, thought, grasping, and attachment. Increase the five aggregates, twelve ayatanas, and eighteen dhatus. From good and evil, there are heavenly realms and evil realms. The Sugata's heart essence is the cause of samsara. Body and mind are always tamed. Acting in the karma of both enemies and friends. Because the self-born heart essence is not realized, The clinging to both outer container and inner contents increases. Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽) itself is the self-born heart essence. Familiarize, realize, recognize, be acquainted, and hold the key point." Thus it is said. From the Vajratop Heart Essence Tantra, the fourth chapter, which explains the principle of sentient beings' delusion. Then, Vajrasattva asked again: "Amazing! Amazing! Teacher Vajradhara. The ignorant beings who cycle in the two, life and heart essence, are extremely confused. How to practice the meaning of the heart essence? From the state of beings, where is liberation attained?" Thus he asked. Vajradhara replied: "Listen, Vajra Dakini. The place of the instruction that opens the eye of ignorance,

Like a butter lamp inside a broken jar. This self-born, self-knowing essence, To consider the placeless as a place is like a clay jar. The essence is inherently like a butter lamp. It is within oneself, yet obscured by oneself. When the physical body is emaciated, the self-nature is seen. When sense perceptions are tormenting, the self-nature arises. When thoughts are teeming, the self-nature is seen. When clinging and attachment are relinquished, the self-nature is known. The instruction of mother and child regarding thoughts is: Movement is the 'ha' energy, the self-born wind. By the movement of bending, the 'ha' energy is seized. On the horse of movement, place the reins of mindfulness. Like an elephant controlled by an iron hook. A wild horse is tamed by reins. Movement is tamed by mindfulness. Mindfulness is the wisdom of awakening: By the power of movement, mindfulness is liberated. The self-born experience of the awakening of sense perceptions. The experience of samadhi held by mindfulness. Water chases water, merging into the ocean's expanse. It is the wisdom that transcends experience. When movement and mindfulness awaken, one transcends experience. To what do you cling, and on what do you rely? Make it workable in one place. It is the self-experience of awakening from attachment. It is the self-born experience of being free from objects of reliance. Mindfulness liberates movement, it is the experience of decisive severance. Looking with clinging attachment, it is the experience of decisive severance. The key point of the child is great mindfulness, it is the experience of the mother. The key point of the mother, the key point of clinging, is the self-born experience. The key point of wind, movement is connected by mindfulness. The key point of mindfulness is the absence of clinging and attachment. Like a deer chased by a dog, there is no escape. Like a tala tree with its head cut off, there is no rebirth. Thus it is said. From the Root Tantra of Vajrakila, the Fifth Chapter: Cutting the Root of Error. Then, Vajrasattva again, Asked the Teacher himself thus: "Kye! Kye! Teacher Vajradhara! For the yogi who practices the essence, Pacifying, increasing, magnetizing, and wrathful activities, vows, Offerings, blessings, secret mantras, View, conduct, empowerments, and samadhi, The distinctions of practice, the various tenets, I request you to speak to the assembly." Having thus requested, Vajradhara spoke: "Listen, Vajrasattva, and, Assembly of Vajra Wrathful Mothers and Dakinis! Herein are four lineages, four activities, Branches of mantras, three vows, The distinctions of offerings, of practice, The essence of the distinct tenets is taught." Thus he spoke. Again he spoke: "Subsequent activities, conduct uprightly, In the conduct of the solitary hero, In charnel grounds, rocky mountains, or, Ravines, empty valleys, in the midst of forests, In solitary places, mind and
