From (the previous text), this is the thirtieth chapter introducing the three places. Then, to speak truthfully, Vajra Dharma's wisdom, please listen. About to explain the meaning of the four mudras, is the supreme place of reverence for beings, is the one who proclaims the Four Noble Truths. Among them, the Hearer's mudras are four: two hundred and fifty are the Karma Mudra, establishing the Four Truths is the Dharma Mudra, the absence of self in a person is the Samaya Mudra, the Arhat's seven-branch fruit is the Maha Mudra. The Bodhisattva's mudras are: guarding the twenty vows is the Karma Mudra, practicing the six perfections is the Dharma Mudra, the emptiness of the nature of all dharmas is the Samaya Mudra, attaining omniscience is the Maha Mudra. Practicing the three purities is the Karma Mudra, inviting the three families, offering praise is the Dharma Mudra, guarding against eating fish, meat, garlic, and onions is the Samaya Mudra, accomplishing the fruit of the three families is the Maha Mudra. Abiding on the path to enlightenment is the Karma Mudra, dissolving the five bodies is the Dharma Mudra, relying on the three whites and three sweets is the Samaya Mudra, the manifestation of the five bodies is the Maha Mudra. Enjoying the five ambrosias, practicing union and liberation is the Karma Mudra, mantras and mudras are the Dharma Mudra, guarding the twenty-eight vows is the Samaya Mudra, practicing the forty-two is the Maha Mudra. The three samadhis, enjoying the five samaya substances is the Karma Mudra, meditating on Samantabhadra and his consort is the Dharma Mudra, not interrupting gathering and dispersing is the Samaya Mudra, the indivisibility of Dharmadhatu and wisdom is the Maha Mudra. Play without cessation is the Dharma Mudra, the nature of no arising is the Karma Mudra, the essence of emptiness and liberation is the Samaya Mudra, the nature of no arising is the Maha Mudra. Flowing without cessation is the Karma Mudra, wisdom thoroughly knowing is the Dharma Mudra, inner and outer awareness without duality is the Samaya Mudra, transcending all dharmas is the Maha Mudra. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of Subduing All Beings, this is the thirty-first chapter of empowerment with mudras. Then, truthfully proclaimed, son of lineage, you listen, Samantabhadra.

Its meaning is: Knowing the ground as self-liberated. The meaning of the ground's self-liberation is that the meaning of self-arising without looking manifests. Not cultivated, not accomplished, not practiced, the two accumulations not gathered. Does the ground's self-liberation cultivate, or is it cultivating? Has it cultivated or not cultivated? Does it become a Buddha? Does it see with view? Has it seen? Is it seeing? Does it become a Buddha by seeing with view? Does it practice or is it practicing? Does it ripen after practicing? Having finished practicing, does it become a Buddha? Is the ground the ground of the result? Does the ground experience the result? Does the ground attain the result? Does the ground say: I am the result? Likewise, the five paths, ten bhumis, two accumulations, etc., are likewise its nature. Thus it is said. For example, does camphor say: Am I medicine? Or poison? Or ordinary food? Does the wish-fulfilling jewel say that? The ground recognizes the ground through confusion, and those who do not recognize it have no autonomy. Like a mirror with a human face, looking outward, it is clear by seeing inward. By recognizing the ground, one transcends the ground. The five transcendences are not dharma. Because wisdom is transparent and self-arising, because omniscience is unobstructed, wisdom manifests in this way. The meaning explained by the six, and the six heretical teachers, are wrong because they are divided into two schools. Does it not contradict the meaning of non-duality? Because of equality, there is no good or bad in meaning. If you want good, it is attachment. Not enjoying with desire is a discriminating demon. There is no greater demon than this. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of Taming All Beings, the thirty-second chapter, which reveals the intention of Samantabhadra. After that, the true words should be spoken. In this great Tantra of Taming All Beings, everything is completely gathered. This is a blessed tantra, to be upheld. Thus it is said. To the teacher Samantabhadra, I rejoice in the wisdom of Vajra Dharma. The Tantra Called Taming All Beings is complete.
