The Tantra of Traveling Far, Equal to the Extent of Space. Vol. 36411.1 - 449.6texts.thdl.org/catalog/ngb/pt/482/pages Editions Volume 36 Page 448 View PL 413༄༅། །All those retinues bowed down to the Teacher Samantabhadra. Having completely bowed down, the Teacher Samantabhadra, looking at all the retinues, thought of abiding in the taṃ (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,meaning) that is equal to the edge of space, having no concern for things that are separate from the edge of space, and having the thought of liberation from things that are equal to the edge of space. Then, the great lord of all yogis, in a respectful manner in front of the Teacher, remained without saying anything. Then, the Teacher Samantabhadra spoke these words: "I, the nature is equal to the edge of space, the nature of space is separate from the edge and the center. The two excellent ones, the nature is equal to that. All dharmas are in accordance with my way." Thus he spoke. The chapter of traveling far, equal to the edge of space, is the first. Then, the great lord of yoga spoke these words: "All dharmas are equal to the edge of space, the source of the treasure of jewels, may the intention be accomplished. May the fortunate ones become the essence of the jewel ground, that is the treasure that dispels the darkness of the subtle realm." Having thus requested, the Teacher Samantabhadra spoke these words: "The equality that is like the edge of space, not taking, not abandoning, in a state of thinking of the essence. That is like the jewel island that has not passed away, the three realms and five people have power over the meaning. Not abandoning, not training, cutting off the disease of conceptualization, not changing from that, not working, free from cause, spontaneously accomplished, without elaboration, the state of being complete from the beginning, abiding in that, there is also no finding through the effort of the senses. Not holding to difference, free from the skill of holding, self-knowing, uncorrected, the expanse of great bliss, hope arises from the realm and goes astray through effort, therefore not seeking from elsewhere, it will not change. The nature of non-elaboration wisdom, whatever is spread out, with the unerring straightness to be traveled, from the beginning without object, the uncorrected self-born place, like a vajra, wisdom unchanging, without darkness, seeking by searching 415༄༅། །there is no finding, that is the meaning of the essence. For the meaning of the essence, not working, unchanging, stable.

Not abiding in the vast sky, the path of the sky. Not focusing on the sky itself, unchanging and stable. Why not contemplate the self-nature that is inherently accomplished? Unchanging, eternal great bliss, Samantabhadra. All phenomena, without cultivation, are inherently its adornment. Activities, even when sought, are not found, inherently accomplished. Thoughts free from effort, Samantabhadra. Why not contemplate the meaning that distinguishes everything? The wisdom of bliss, undifferentiated and non-dual, is Unchanging, spontaneously accomplished, inherently vast. Through the power of habituation, constantly enjoying bliss. The enjoyment of great bliss is inherently complete. Not distinguishing differences, adorning everything. The wisdom of completion, not meditating, is itself. From the Tantra of Traveling Far, Equal to Space, the Second Chapter: Purifying the Three Realms. The rays of darkness are like binding chains. That meaning is liberation from the binding chains. Like clarity through the power of light, The symbolic means fully connect with the nature. The nectar of the teachings is gathered with the essence of medicine. The nature of the cause of accomplishment is the symbolic means. Clear appearances, without differentiating, are the wisdom mind. The spontaneously accomplished result of body and speech is one. Without actions to do, to be done, or not to be done, it inherently pervades all. All are without difference in the pure land of enlightenment. Indivisible Samantabhadra, unchanging, without effort. The secret nature of reality is symbolized, vast wisdom. Transcending the realm of words and terms. Without self, showing "I" causes confusion and decline. Not focusing, not appearing as objects, the realm of directional parts. Focusing on grasping, the causeless, signless sphere. Not attached to the state of objects, without action. Not focusing on the object of grasping, like the sky. The nature of reality is effortless, limitless, and free from bonds. The ultimate meaning of darkness, the definite result is one. The nature of clarity is shown in one intention. The meaning of equality and clarity, why not contemplate? In the essence of non-discrimination, there is no result of accumulation. Through the power of individual discrimination, clear without mixing. The nature of essence, the ultimate meaning is very excellent. Equality is without self, therefore without bias. In the equality without grasping, it naturally abides. The special instructions of the wisdom teachings are very special. The lamp of bliss dispels the darkness of impurity. Through the actions of great means, activities are spontaneously accomplished. From the Tantra of Traveling Far, Equal to the Edge of Space, the Special Means.
