O Secret Lord! How does a Dzogchen practitioner apply the rivet varnish to the essence of all dharmas? Please, Secret Lord, reveal it. The Secret Lord said: Hey! Great Bodhisattva, listen. If a Dzogchen practitioner wishes to realize the essence of meaning, with the key of the third Bese box, open the secret door of certainty. Having opened the secret door of certainty, in the sky of the mind of the base of all, the light of self-arisen wisdom dawns. In the great secret treasury of certainty, one sees that there is an inexhaustible great treasure. That self-arisen wisdom of the mind dawns as the essence of all dharmas. For example, if a hundred measures of copper are coated with one measure of gold varnish, everything will turn into gold. On the essence of all dharmas, by applying the varnish of bodhichitta, there is nothing that is not great self-arisen wisdom or dharmata. For example, in the precious golden continent, since everything is made of gold, even if one searches for earth and stones, one will not find them. Likewise, if a Dzogchen yogi ascertains appearances and existence as mind, other than bodhichitta, searching for dharmas elsewhere, even if the Victorious Ones search, they will not find them. Cause and effect, appearance and emptiness, and so on, are fastened together with rivets, one upon the other. If one realizes the meaning of bodhichitta, Buddhas and sentient beings are non-dual and equal. Happiness and suffering are non-dual and equal. Good and bad, great and small, are non-dual and equal. Faults and virtues are non-dual and equal. Dharma and dharmata are non-dual and equal. Ultimate truth and conventional truth are non-dual and equal. Outer and inner, object and mind, are non-dual and equal. Because of equality, there is no arrangement in sequence. When all dharmas, as they appear, become clear as bodhichitta, the clinging to self-continuity is reversed. On the essence of all dharmas, when the three measures are definitively established, confidence and faith arise in it. That is an immutable, stable rivet. Thus he spoke. The ninth chapter, Establishing the Two Meanings, from The Treasury, the Miraculous Mirror. Again, he asked: Hey, hey, Secret Lord! The speech of the mundane and supramundane, what are their distinctions? Please, Secret Lord, reveal it. The Secret Lord said: Hey! Great Bodhisattva, listen. Sweet speech is the voice of Brahma.

The daughters of demons, etc., all give rise to attachment. Whichever wise person definitively settles in accordance with the teachings, the reasoning of speech will not be confused. The Sugata, Victorious Buddha, contemplating the sequence of wisdom, spoke nine words that correspond to each. He placed what was appropriate in the appropriate place. The Sugata, Victorious Buddha, having emanated six bodies, spoke six words and guided six types of beings. The Sugata, Victorious Buddha, the explanation of the meaning of the six words is an explanation of the meaning that is not exactly as it is. The explanation of the meaning is not exactly as it is, it has aspects of being definite and indefinite. Speak from your mouth, to Sre Sang, beings understand the meanings individually. Turn away from attachment from higher and higher. The Sugata, Victorious Buddha, although the nature of the mind does not move from peace, it emanates as a terrifying and fierce body, causing trembling, falling, fear, fright, and panic. All the sounds of the phenomenal world, the container and its contents, which are inconceivable, are all secret mantras, secret words. In the realm of activity of the entire world, the profound words of the Buddha arise. The words of Dzogchen Ati Yoga, the supreme Dharma nature, are the samadhi of non-speaking, which is the word of meaning without letters. Abandoning the expression in words is the basis for all expressions. The master of words, the lord of words, makes all words very clear. On the summit of Mount Meru, one with the marks and signs of beauty, although not speaking from the mouth, shows all things by its own nature. Thus it is said. From the Treasury, the Mirror of Magical Manifestation, the tenth chapter, which is the division of the limbs of speech. From the Treasury, the Mirror of Magical Manifestation, having made it the latter of the latter tantra, completing the incomplete, it is complete. Jampal Shenyen (Manjushri Mitra). Śrī Siṃha. Then Vimala. Then Yudra Nyingpo. Then Jñanakumara. Then Sangye Yeshe Rinpoche. Then in Drak's Yangdzong, without transmitting it to anyone, he made the intention of his mind. In the end, he did not have faith in the son of Gar either. Not finding a vessel to place the instructions, he cut the silk into sections and hid it. May it meet with someone with karmic connection!
