The wisdom inherent within oneself is not an object of discursive thought; it is subtle, refined, and immeasurable. It eradicates all ailments of suffering; it is the king of meditative medicine. Thus it was said. From the Precious Wheel Tantra, the sixth chapter, the chapter on teaching meditation. After these words of supplication, Vajrasattva again asked: When there is no view, meditation, or application, how are straying, obscuration, and discrimination cut? Having heard these words of supplication, the great Lord of Secrets replied: If the meaning is clear from the moment of realization, then there is no dharma of straying, obscuration, or confusion. Once awakened, how can conditions arise? After these words were spoken, Vajrasattva again asked: If there is no straying or obscuration once realized, how do straying and obscuration arise for those who have not realized? Having heard these words of supplication, the great Lord of Secrets replied: For those who have not realized, straying and obscuration are shown as two. Mistaking the path is straying. Not understanding the true meaning is obscuration. Wandering in the five senses is confusion. The superior mistaking the path of the inferior, I say that is called straying. The two obscurations are like the eyes of a bird; I say they are unobscured. Those vehicles that are strayed above and obscured below, with one word of the Great Perfection's instructions, the straying and obscuration of above and below are suddenly cut. Hidden and concealed within the three defiles, establishing vows within the three fortresses, capturing the king and imprisoning him, expelling the ministers and driving them away, killing the sons of the enemy, and destroying enemies and friends at once. If confusion arises from the two with reversal, then the straying and obscuration of samsara and nirvana are cut. Thus it was said. From the Precious Wheel Tantra, the seventh chapter, the chapter on cutting straying and obscuration. After these words were spoken, Vajrasattva and others, in the nature of the great Lord of Secrets, the straying and obscuration are suddenly cut, and the practice and conduct are spoken as follows. If the essence of awareness is practiced, the Buddha's intention will not change. If the essential meaning of the instructions is practiced, then one will not fall into the confusion of samsara. If one practices single-pointed meditation, then karma and habitual tendencies cannot obscure. If one practices self-arisen wisdom, then thoughts of causal phenomena will not arise. Whatever one does with body, speech, and mind, it is all bliss.

Great conduct has no alteration. If one realizes and practices it, the clinging to grasping and being grasped will be reversed. Because awareness is without bias, no matter how one acts, clinging will not arise. It is not the realm of practice for foolish and inferior people. The actions of body, speech, and mind, etc., are taught for those with inferior minds. Without generating trust in things, entrusting the mind to the words of views, even if one claims to be Samantabhadra, one will fall into mistaken paths and errors. Although completely equal in the state of Samantabhadra, they are not at all equal in realization and non-realization. If useless things are not used for practical purposes, they will be shown as the birthplace of darkness. The yogi of essential nature, wherever he abides, will be liberated, liberated from the confusion of names, and will gain definite understanding in that, there is no other way, practice will surely liberate. The meaning of practicing without abandoning is that in all times of going, staying, sitting, and lying down, one abides in one's own nature without gathering or scattering. Do not negate the phenomena that have arisen, and do not accomplish the phenomena that have not arisen. Abandoning will not become abandoning, and how can accomplishing become accomplishing? Since cause and effect do not arise from others, it is the wisdom without cause and effect. When the stream of confusion is cut off, the stream of meaning is constant. Wherever one abides, one is not separated, and how can one be separated after realization? The confusions of outer and inner, etc., will be liberated without deliberately abandoning them. The meanings of what is needed will all appear, like the wish-fulfilling jewel's tantra. It only appears from the wise, how could it be a wrong view's speculation? Thus it is said. From the Precious Wheel Tantra, the eighth chapter on the practice of cultivation. The Precious Wheel Tantra is complete. May you be endowed with the seal of instructions. If you are not endowed with the seal of instructions, then the ocean of existence will be turbulent.
