In the Indian language: Ratna Chakra Nama Tantra. In Tibetan: The Tantra called "Precious Wheel". Homage to the great secret lord! The teacher of the doctrine, the retinue, the place, the time, with five words of great wonder, the secret lord declared to Vajrasattva and others: Although the basis of Buddha and sentient beings is one, they grasp the outer and inner vessels and essences as two. Wisdom and delusion appear as two, wandering in the darkness, the meaning is unclear. From one, two doors of manifestation arise, one experiences the fruit of six results. The unnamed one is deluded by the force of karma, wandering in the realm of the precious wheel. Appearance and non-appearance, delusion into form. After saying this, Vajrasattva again asked: Although the basis of Buddha and sentient beings is one, are the characteristics of the consciousness of dualistic appearance the same or different? After asking this, the great secret lord replied: From the general ground of the unnamed, two appearances, pure and impure, arise. Although the characteristics appear as two, in the unnamed, the general ground is one. Without one, the two are both yes and no. For example, camphor is like medicine and poison, it is not poison nor is it only medicine. Medicine, poison, and camphor have one general ground, depending on the circumstances and what it encounters, it becomes medicine or poison. In the general ground of the unnamed, two doors of manifestation arise. The door of manifestation of ignorance and delusion, and the door of manifestation of awareness and wisdom, both arise from that general ground. From the difference between good and bad delusions, it appears as realization and non-realization. The secret lord is originally a Buddha, after realization he becomes the Dharmakaya Buddha, after meditation he becomes the Sambhogakaya Buddha, after listening he becomes the Nirmanakaya Buddha. The three bodies appear in pure Buddha-fields. The consciousness of non-realization and delusion, in the room of Alaya light, from the delusion of ignorance, arises the mind of subtle thoughts, from the thoughts of the mind it seeks anger, arising the thought of pleasure and the thought of displeasure, from experiencing the thought of pleasure, arises the attachment of not being able to separate. Arising the thought of displeasure, the mind seeks anger with displeasure. The thought of "I" arises. After pleasure and pain have been in the mind for a long time, two arise, clear and unclear. From clear and unclear, the mind's discrimination arises, two arise, light-form and species-form. Awareness is emptiness.

Possessing the essence. The treasure of all arising jewels. Desires and enjoyments are inexhaustible. The basis for all fruits to manifest. Secret Lord, I will explain. Vajrasattva, listen well. Thus he spoke. From the Tantra of the Jewel Wheel, the first chapter, the introductory chapter. Following those words of supplication, from the nature of the Great Secret Lord, Vajrasattva again asked: The common ground of the basis of all, the two doorways of manifestation, is it created or does it arise? If it is created, then it is a conditioned thing, and all that is accomplished becomes meaningless. If it is the nature of arising, does it arise from self or from other? Thus he asked. The Great Secret Lord replied: Like the nature of camphor, even if the names of medicine and poison are not given, they appear as medicine and poison. From the common ground of the basis of all, the two doorways of manifestation arise naturally. What arises first is with cessation. From the doorway of manifestation of ignorance and delusion, before the doorway of manifestation of wisdom arises, the basis of all appears as a form of light. When a mind of desire arises towards the light, one is naturally deluded into the gods of the desire realm. When one grasps the light as true, one is naturally deluded into the gods of the form realm. Not knowing the nature of light, and a mind arises that is nothing, one is naturally deluded into the formless realm. When the power of wisdom arises towards the light, confidence arises in the power, and conceptual thought arises. By abiding in wisdom for a long time, one obtains it. Attachment and hatred arise towards the light, and one is naturally deluded into the place of hell. Attachment arises towards the light and one cannot bear to be separated, and one is naturally deluded into the place of the hungry ghosts. Not knowing the truth, the meaning is not clear, and one is naturally deluded into the place of animals. Jealousy arises towards the good and bad of the light form, and one is naturally deluded into humans. When a mind arises that there is no self, one is naturally deluded into the asuras. Since the root is dualistic ignorance, appearance and non-appearance cause harm, and this is shown by the example of all ghosts. The basis is the alaya consciousness of the basis of all. From attachment arises hatred, and one is deluded into the body. From desire arises lust, and one is deluded into flesh and blood. Ignorance arises as the form of flesh and blood. Truth and falsehood appear in various ways. From co-emergent ignorance, conceptual thought of imputed ignorance arises. The mind is grasped as both inner and outer. One enters into objects and accumulates obscurations.
