Homage to the Bhagavan, the realm of the all-gathering wisdom! Thus I have heard at one time, in the palace adorned with the utmost clarity of wisdom, in the realm of what is the suchness of one's own wisdom, the mandala of one's own wisdom abides. I will explain its meaning. O, listen, great Thubpa's retinue, including the dakinis! This great tantra of self-arisen means will illuminate all the darkness of sentient beings. Sons of lineage, please ask with undistracted minds! Thus I have heard at one time, the Bhagavan, in the palace of the luminous light of the heart jewel, abides in the self-arisen body of wisdom and the intention of the Dharmata Thigle as one means. At that time, the assembled retinue became very numerous, and then they asked the Bhagavan, the glorious and powerful one, as follows: O, O, Bhagavan, possessor of the uncommon power of wisdom, please bestow this great tantra upon us, please prophesy, please realize, please provide the means, please uphold the teachings, please reveal the appearances. Thus they asked without error about the meaning of self-appearance. Then the Bhagavan, abiding in the Samadhi of the great assembly, spoke to the great retinue: Emaho! That which you have asked is excellent! I will open the door of the mandala of the heart-mind, the intention of meaning, and explain the intention of the secret mantra without error. Listen well! From the great secret mandala, the five wisdom self-arisen goddesses are clear without birth or cessation, therefore,

The five afflictions remain without being utilized. When the light of all-pervading wisdom shines on all realms and dissolves into the realm of self-born great emptiness, one should examine the lamp that clarifies the wisdom goddess's realm. The wise, seeing the lamp of compassion shining brightly on the power of self-appearing wisdom, thereby enter into the real meaning. Through skillful means, one will see the meaning of each, which is boundless. Thereafter, from within that assembled retinue, the wisdom goddess named Radiantly Blazing Adornment spoke thus: "Kye! Kye! Bhagavan Liberators, for the sake of those beings who wish to realize the nature of reality, please protect sentient beings with compassion and destroy the dark chamber of ignorance." Thus she requested. Then, from the sphere of the mind, the command was bestowed: "Listen, powerful wisdom goddess. Hold well in your mind what I teach. The sentient beings of the three realms of samsara, from the very first time of delusion, have two ways in which appearances arise at present: entering the path simultaneously and the way in which the vision of the path arises. The great wisdom of emptiness, because there is nothing, is deluded by anything, and ultimately it will inevitably change. The thing that is nothing does not fall into any side. The thing that is deluded by anything merely appears as a similar appearance, but the meaning of that does not arise; the dharmadhatu appears like an ornament." Thus he spoke. Then again, from within that assembled retinue, the wisdom goddess Various Arisings spoke thus: "Kye Bhagavan, possessing the body of compassionate awareness, what is the nature of the time of appearance? Please speak." Then again, the Bhagavan, the Self-Born King, spoke thus: "Kye, assembled goddess, listen. When the wisdom of realization enters the realm, appearance is self-appearance, and knowledge should be released. The wisdom of appearance is all-pervading and abides in the essence of awareness where meaning does not arise. From the realm of unimpeded wisdom, the five mandalas of self-arisen signs are clear. In the nature of ultimate reality, in the realm of Samantabhadra, all inner and outer phenomena are clear." Then, from within the assembled retinue, the wisdom goddess Light Rays Arising Everywhere spoke thus: "Ema, Bhagavan,
