The very nature of the Dharmakaya, the characteristic of being without birth or cessation. The teacher of teachers, Samantabhadra, to the secret empowerment of Vajrasattva, through the unborn nature, qualities arise without cessation. Because the essence is not focused on objects, there is no inherent nature to abide in. Qualities of going and coming arise spontaneously, bliss and wisdom are self-illuminating light. In that, qualities arise as five lights. Self-illuminating light is clear like a deity. Deity and light are of one nature. From the connection between that and that, appearances arise as duality. The essence of the sun is accompanied by rays. The essence of crystal is accompanied by light. The nature of gold is accompanied by yellowness. The nature of a mirror is accompanied by clarity. The nature of clarity is accompanied by light. The nature of sentient beings is accompanied by mind. The wisdom of emptiness is accompanied by clarity. Since all three bodies are self-endowed, they arise without being made. Even the individual characteristics of each, since they arise from the Dharmakaya, abandoning them is not abandoning it. If one knows the nature, one abandons completely. Appearances arise from the Dharmakaya itself. Abandoning appearances means there is no Dharmakaya. The five poisons arise from wisdom itself. Non-thought, non-grasping, in ignorance, appearing as clarity is hatred. Appearing as bliss is desire. Appearing as emptiness is jealousy. Without attachment is pride itself. That too is not the existence of wisdom. Since everything arises from itself, from the appearances that arise from itself, no matter how one acts, there is no defilement. If one does not know self-arising and self-appearing, no matter how one acts, it is delusion. From the Great Extensive Jewel Source Tantra, the sixtieth chapter, which teaches that all phenomena arise from themselves, is complete. The secret empowerment of Vajrasattva, to the teacher of teachers, Samantabhadra, from where did this tantra arise, to whom was it entrusted, and what is the complete rejoicing? The teacher of teachers, Samantabhadra, to the secret empowerment of Vajrasattva, from the very essence of the ground without cessation, since all phenomena are self-arising and self-appearing, arising from that and acting upon that, through not realizing the arising and seeing the appearing, with inconceivable types of vehicles, this vehicle of arising and abiding after arising, thus the intention of Samantabhadra is shown. How this arises and appears, I have shown to Vajrasattva himself. Appearing as a great being.

A glossary of secret mantra terms in Tibetan and Chinese, a feast of joy for the clear-minded. This profound vehicle, is complete in everyone, but is cut off by means of self-hidden methods. The darkness of cutting off, is illuminated by the self-light of wisdom. Vajrasattva, myself, the meaning as it is, I have declared to all the Buddhas. Thereafter, the retinue rejoiced, Vairochana Vajrasattva, the Jewel family and the Lotus family, the excellent Karma family, etc., followed by rejoicing and joining palms, all without interruption, turning the wheel of Dharma in the three times. Bodhisattvas, etc., all the gods and dakinis, holding or practicing this, accomplishing the meaning in accordance with the conduct. Well done, well done, therefore it is said, the lord of goodness also rejoices. From the Great Extensive Jewel Sutra, the chapter of entrusting and rejoicing is the first. The Great Extensive Jewel Sutra is complete. Translated by Shri Singha and Vairochana.
