Me. (If) the number of worldly dharmas is like that, please explain those ways of discourse. After praying like this, the Bhagavan again declared: Emaho! Lord of Secrets, listen! Listen well to what I say! The view of the Samkhya school is like this: dust and darkness, courage, these three, are clung to as permanent. Moreover, they consider ignorance to be the root, desire to produce happiness, and hatred to be able to resist armies. This is the view of the Samkhya school. The view of the Vaisheshika school is like this: the external skandhas, dhatus, and ayatanas are regarded as extremely small dust. They first grasp with attachment, and then count the extremely small dust, considering this to be the cause of destruction, this to be the cause of emptiness, this to be the cause of emptiness where there is nothing. After abandoning this body, the mind clings to the sky, the body clings to the elements, and one dwells in the boundary of emptiness where there is nothing. The tenets of Kumaras are considered like this: they consider the body to be without mind, the body has no mind. When the body is abandoned without mind, it is considered to be emptiness where there is nothing. The tenets of the Nirgrantha school are like this: they consider phenomena to be temporarily permanent, but ultimately, this phenomenon is impermanent. For the phenomena of the next life, they consider the retinue of Ishvara to be permanent. The views of the Nirgrantha school are also like that. The secret five fire offerings are shown like this: in the Buddha's manifested pure land, a person who dwells there lights a lamp, and with subtle wisdom knows that enlightenment comes from the manifestation of the five wisdoms. There are those who practice the five fire offerings, that is, using sandalwood wood, soaked in sesame oil, lighting five pyres, and there are also those who burn their own bodies. Those called fire-cloth wearers, soak linen in sesame oil and wrap it around themselves, then light it, and there are also those who burn their own bodies. There are those who practice the asceticism of the three-pointed spear, that is, they stick the three-pointed spear into the ground, then jump on it, and there are those who practice asceticism. There are also those who jump off cliffs or precipices and lose their lives. There is also a practice called the Ajivika, that is, cutting a mirror-sized piece of flesh from one's own body, digging out from the flesh of the left and right arms and the crown of the head.

Then, they put their own bodies into pits, and there are those who allow vultures and other birds to eat their bodies. There is also a perverse view called having animalistic behavior, entering the form of a dog, and practicing perverse asceticism. Those who say that the author is the cause are like a skilled carpenter who distinguishes the forms of men and women and does work; similarly, heretics also do work with their own supernormal powers and then wish to be born into the retinue of Ishvara or Brahma. The tenet of taking action as the path is that in this world, by doing things like building houses, after death one's own body is abandoned, and Ishvara or Brahma comes to greet them and places them on the steps of Mount Meru. The view that permanence represents meaning is that, upon examining the meaning itself, permanence exists, while other things are treated with an attitude of annihilation. Those who claim permanence as absolute say that things are permanent, unchanging, great, and necessarily have self-nature. There is also a saying that things change in certain circumstances, such as considering annihilated things to be permanent in certain circumstances. There is also a view that the cause is permanent, that is, in the center of one's heart, the object of the cause is round, white in color, the size of a pea, not produced from the father's cause, nor generated by the mother's conditions, but is considered permanent. Considering the result to be permanent is that the cause is impermanent, that is, consciousness is not a substance, the result is permanent, that is, there must be Ishvara or Brahma. Considering permanence to depend on the path is that the cause is impermanent, that is, consciousness is not a substance, the result is impermanent, that is, Ishvara or Brahma goes alone to a place, even if they do not go, the path is permanent, that is, Ishvara or Brahma resides on the top of Mount Meru, and it is thought that the path exists there. There is also a view that action is permanent, that is, cause and effect are impermanent, but it is thought that liberation can be attained through permanent action, and all lands and houses are also permanent objects, and whatever appears is considered permanent. Considering things not to be permanent but annihilated is to consider things to be annihilated, and in this view, the sect of permanence is practiced. Mainly performing evil mantras is to mainly perform evil mantras, doing destructive and intense actions, which is to say black celibacy, and they are very fond of it.
