Surrounded by a retinue of spontaneously pure, naturally clear, and unceasing beings. The King of the Teachings, beyond action and thought, spoke. The King of Time, in a time without beginning or end. The compiler was the clear and pure Jewel. Then, that clear and pure Jewel asked: Ati Bharanga Gahari. How is the teaching beyond action and thought spoken? How will the manner of arising of realization arise? How is the result obtained without practice? Is effort through eight stages not necessary? Are the four of view, meditation, action, and result necessary for those of the keenest faculties? Without doing, without seeking, without striving, without accomplishing, how will the primordially pure, without substance, be obtained? Thus he asked. From the Tantra of the Blazing Lamp, the first chapter, which is the perfection and the basis of discussion.
