I have not explained the fruit of effort. I have not explained the fruit of desire. I have not explained the fruit of hope. I have not explained the fruit of wish. I have not explained the fruit obtained after practice. The Dharmakaya is without object, inexpressible, and beyond words. Although the fruit is non-dual in terms of what is to be obtained and the obtainer, due to the unceasing manifestation of self-arisen potential, the name of fruit is temporarily assigned as follows: Fruit refers to the meaning of essence. Offspring refers to the uninterrupted branch. Fruit refers to the Dharmata realm, offspring refers to the characterized phenomena. Fruit refers to the spontaneously accomplished Dharmakaya, offspring refers to the manifestation of awareness. Fruit refers to the meaning of the ground, potential and are called offspring. Fruit refers to the realm of Dharma, offspring refers to the wisdom of awareness. Fruit refers to the initial time, offspring refers to the present knowing. Fruit refers to one's own wisdom, offspring refers to obtaining the guru's instructions. From the time without beginning, what is inherently present in oneself is the fruit, and what is realized through hearing, thinking, and meditating is the offspring. All those fruits, in the space where the three Kayas are inseparable, cut off elaboration. This is the twelfth chapter, cutting off the elaboration of the fruit. The holy one among the retinue, the Self-Radiant Youth, asked: For the Dharmakaya that is inexpressible and beyond words, the cutting of elaborations on view, meditation, conduct, and fruit is like this, but how is the cutting of elaborations on the pith instructions? The Dharmakaya, which is beyond words, replied: In the vast space of the essence-nature Dharmakaya, not realizing what is inexpressible and beyond words, for the branch manifestations that are without limit, the expresser and the expressed do not exist in meaning, and if it is not expressed, it cannot be understood and realized, therefore, the cutting of elaborations on the pith instructions is shown by expressing it. Eighty-four thousand gates of Dharma, the pith instructions of those cannot be spoken, are inconceivable, and beyond expression. The pith instructions that become the four mindfulnesses, it is not said that the Dharmakaya is obtained. Showing the pith instructions of meaning is: In the pith instructions where there is no dualistic appearance, liberation from the edge of elaboration is said to be the nature of the pith instructions. In the pith instructions that are free from imputation and denial, realizing that there is no elaboration is said to be the characteristic of the pith instructions. Realizing freedom from imputation and denial, if one does not cling to the edge of elaboration, it is said to be the essence of the pith instructions. For the reality of the meaning of the essence,

Transcending the realm of thought and expression, the realization of that which is beyond thought and inexpressible is said to be the characteristic of oral instructions. The meaning of being without partiality and elaboration, and being liberated from the extremes of slander, is said to be the fruit of oral instructions. The vast expanse without beginning or end, gathers the oral instructions without limitation, its nature dissolves into the Dharmadhatu. In the center of the expanse of essential meaning, dissolves the oral instruction that is indescribable and beyond expression. In the state of equality of existence and non-existence of the ground's nature, all of Samsara and Nirvana arise from it. Although various things arise, they dissolve into the nature of the ground. Even the eighty-four thousand oral instructions, sever elaboration in the expanse free from attachment. Severing elaboration is called the five categories. From the five categories of severing elaboration, the thirteenth chapter is the oral instruction severing elaboration. The holy one among the retinue, the self-illuminating young boy, asked the Dharmakaya that is indescribable and beyond expression, "What are the kinds of names?" The Dharmakaya that is indescribable and beyond expression replied, "For the essence itself that cannot be designated, the manner of appearance is unobstructed and vast, names are given by the power of the limbs of wisdom. Because all vehicles arise from this, it is also called the Great Tantra of the General Vehicle. Because all vehicles are subdued, it is also called the Great Subduing Tantra. Because it gathers all the meanings of the general vehicle, it is also called the General Yoga. Because it shows the meanings of the vast view, it is also called the Great Tantra of the Vast Yoga. Because all vehicles are unique, it is also called the Great Unique Tantra. Because of practicing view, meditation, and action, it is also called the Great Practice Tantra. Because all elaborations are completely severed, it is also called the Five Categories of Severing Elaboration." The fourteenth chapter is the chapter showing the kinds of names. The Tantra called the Five Categories of Severing Elaboration is complete. The Indian Pandit Guru Padmasambhava and the great Tibetan translator Kawa Paltseg translated and established it. Seal it like a mouth without breath, bury it as a treasure in a place where there is no spreading.
