Since it is free from causes and conditions, there is no birth or destruction. From the beginning, it is clear as the essence of self-arising. How the six realms appear and, The nature of both peaceful nirvana, Inseparably, the nature is one in the mind. The six realms are the mind's conceptual thoughts and, The self-illuminating wisdom awareness, There is no difference, it is one essence. The appearance of the three realms of samsara and, The wisdom of peaceful nirvana, Arise as two due to realization and non-realization. Conceptual thought exhausts itself in one's own mind. Thus it is said. In the Gyü of the Precious Light of Wisdom, the tenth chapter on all dharmas being non-dual. Then, again, one with longing in their heart, requested of Manifest Perfection King: "The nature of bodhichitta, how should it be practiced ultimately?" When thus requested, Manifest Perfection King, abiding in the samadhi of ultimate wisdom, spoke thus: "Free from the effort of seeking and hoping for others, One's own mind, pure, is inherently Buddha. The mind-essence of Samantabhadra Buddha is bliss. For all limitless sentient beings, They possess the inherent wisdom of the Buddhas. Beyond thought, do not contemplate anything in its own way. From the beginning, it is equal to the edge of space, Do not give it mind, abandon all actions. Of samsara and nirvana, Whatever coarse or subtle conceptual thoughts may appear, Abiding in its own nature, it is bliss in non-thought. Like the appearance of water, Coarse and subtle conceptual thoughts are wisdom itself. Self-awareness, primordial, like a lotus, Though dwelling in samsara, it is pure from the beginning. Whatever characteristics may appear, They are like trees on water, without essence. In the obscured samsara of self-awareness, Awareness is clear like a lamp. However conceptual thoughts may transform, The primordial wisdom is never interrupted. Like darkness disappearing when dawn breaks, The clear light of wisdom is the same. Without effort, the clear light arises spontaneously. The fortunate, unfabricated yogi, Abiding in the mind-essence like a snow lion, The efforts of body and speech naturally cease. The non-meditative, non-conceptual wisdom, Has reached the essence of clear intelligence. The ultimately perfected, non-meditative, self-arising wisdom, The stainless wisdom light of the Buddhas is clear. Abiding in its own place, it pervades all beings. Like space, without separation, There is no other for all beings. In the state of non-thought, self-arising, The wisdom possesses the characteristic of bliss. The wisdom that purifies grasping, Unfabricated, spontaneously, non-meditatively clear. The nature of bliss, free from conceptual thought. The self-abiding wisdom, clear light mind, Seeing it cuts through doubt."

Recitation is free from flaws. Wisdom abides in its own place, without obscurations. Seeing all things clearly with wisdom, there is no error in the essential meaning. This pure wheel of awareness is effortless, spontaneously arising wisdom. Spontaneously arising wisdom is the lord of all. Being without a body, it has no limbs. Being free from exaggeration and denigration, it possesses true essence. The heart essence is free from all, the lord of all. Unfabricated awareness, the samadhi is clear. Without action, all purposes are accomplished. Spontaneous, primordial, the basis of all. Unmoving, the path of liberation, spontaneously accomplished. Just as it is, all is complete, the very fruit. In the state of a single, indivisible thigle. The nature of mind, free from action, a treasure of completeness. The blissful wisdom, the non-conceptual mind. Fortunate ones are complete from the very beginning. The conceptual views of the six realms of samsara and, the wisdom of the victorious ones, nirvana. In the state of great bliss, one awareness. Spontaneous, just as it is, unfabricated. In the state of spontaneous perfection, without elaboration. This inconceivable wisdom is free from the movement of conceptual thought. Without past, present, or future, the continuity is unbroken. This supreme path of obscuring the nature of mind, is indivisibly present in all, yet without a path of manifestation, wandering in samsara. Suffering, afflicted by the disease of effort. Therefore, this lamp of the teacher, make the wisdom of appearance clear. Not shown to all, it is secret. Entrusted to a few worthy vessels. Thus it is said. From the Precious Light Tantra of Wisdom, the eleventh chapter, the Recitation of the Essence. The so-called Precious Light Tantra is complete. Translated by the Indian Abbot Shri Singha and, the translator Vairochana, in the assembly hall of Dhahena.
