Thus spoke Vajrasattva. It is complete. Translated by the Indian Abbot Shri Singha and the Tibetan translator Vairochana. Ah Hum (藏文:ཨ་ཧྂ,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:ahum,汉语字面意思:阿吽). Gya Gya Gya (藏文:རྒྱ་རྒྱ་རྒྱ,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:gyagya gya,汉语字面意思:嘉嘉嘉). In the language of India: Bodhicitta Alankara Amanta Bhavanama. In the Tibetan language: Called "The Tantra of the Nine Expanses, the Ocean of the Mind of Enlightenment." Homage to the Bhagavan, effortless faith. At one time when this was being taught, the Tathagata, the self-arisen, clear Buddha. The essence of all self-awareness is clear. The very perfection of wisdom, light, and great bliss. A palace of awareness without beginning or end. In the mandala of clear self-awareness, in the place of the expanse of great wisdom. With the wheel of self-nature, and the view of self-nature, and the realization of self-nature, the Buddhas of the three times abide in the expanse of awareness in a single skillful way. Then, the Bhagavan, the Tathagata Vajrasattva, was asked by Vajrapani about the self-nature of all things, saying: The great assembly, the very nature of bodhichitta, is the collection of all teachings. Awareness is the expanse of all teachings. Please explain the actionless, perfect teachings. Thus he asked. Then, the Bhagavan entered into meditative absorption in the expanse of wisdom. All became one in the expanse of great wisdom, and he spoke: The self-nature of the mind of enlightenment is the supreme expanse of self-arisen awareness. Secret, self-arisen, perfect essence. Light, clear awareness pervades all. Because the self-nature is peaceful in essence. The nature of phenomena is pure, without characteristics. The expanse of unmade, secret heart. Secret, self-arisen, perfect essence. Light, clear awareness pervades all. Because the self-nature is peaceful in essence. The nature of phenomena is pure, without characteristics. The expanse of unmade, secret heart. Since it is not other than the realm of awareness. It transcends all words and letters. In awareness without arising or ceasing. Although there is no duality, and one does not abide in one place. It is taught in the manner of speech and sound. Thus he spoke. Then, the hero Vajra again asked: The expanse of the realm of self-arisen awareness. Like the essence of all clarity. Although qualities are perfected without conditions. Like a wandering prince. Because the general self-characteristic is not realized. With a reversed view of one's own characteristics.

In the meaning of non-duality, grasping as duality. In the meaning of unspeakable, erring with speech. In the meaning of aimlessness, fixating on aims. In the meaning of directionlessness, looking towards directions. Matures into the essence of the three realms of samsara. However, like the precious island. If that dualistic aspect does not remain. For the sake of the fortunate ones. Please explain the vast teachings. Thus requested. Then, the Tathagata Vajrasattva spoke: The expanse of the secret ocean that cannot be removed. Indivisible, primordial, vast, renowned as wondrous. Since all Buddhas are perfected. The lineage of the self-born Bodhicitta. Like a flawless, clear essence of light. Complete in the realm free from cause and condition. Like perceiving yellow in a conch shell. Through the concept of mistaken self-thought. Even if examined, it does not remain in reality. From the beginning, the supreme self-born essence. Spontaneously accomplished without purification or accumulation. The lineage of the oneness of Buddha and sentient beings. The meaning of the expanse of the mind-nature awareness. The secret of the secret, the experience of awareness. Beyond all expression, transcending all explanations. Free from all thoughts of beginning, end, and center. The essence of wisdom, the secret realm. Since all is complete in the self-born expanse. Liberated from all signs of action. The essence is indivisible, separate from objects. Love is vast like the expanse of the sky. Joy is the experience of self-born clarity. Equanimity is detachment, without distraction. In the vast, actionless, complete lineage. From the beginning, since cause and effect are perfected. It abides spontaneously accomplished, without searching. The secret of mind-nature wisdom is: Since it is not an object of partiality or attachment. The fortunate, perfect yogi. Abides in a state without rejection or acceptance. The bindu of the vast secret is: Since it is everything, there is no affirmation or negation. Since it is self-born, it is free from cause and condition. Since it is spontaneously accomplished, there is no need to search. Since it is pure from the beginning, there is no need to purify. In the clarity of non-dual wisdom. The path of partiality, confusion, and wrong turning. The fortunate, noble sons of the Buddhas. For the sake of not needing to strive, but perfecting at once. The tantra of the secret awareness, the nine expanses. Spoken in a single instant at the end of time. Thus it was spoken. From the Tantra of the Precious Nine Expanses. The first chapter is the secret chapter of introduction. Then, the Bodhisattva Vajra. Asked the Bhagavan Vajrasattva thus: Of all the Buddhas of the three times.
