Now pointing out the faults, it is also said in the scriptures: Entering the Lesser Vehicle, naturally having low intelligence, hearing little and being conceited, being misled by defiled words, being arrogant and having little faith, being attached to one's own sect regarding the Great Vehicle, even if cut off, having no worries, being bound by stinginess. For such a person, the meaning of the extraordinary is not explained. Even if explained, since the mind stream is not liberated, the unsurpassed vehicle, the instructions of the completion stage, and the meaning of Atiyoga are not shown. From the extraordinary place of the mind of enlightenment, the thirty-ninth chapter on pointing out the faults of the vessel. Now, this chapter uses eight uncommon metaphors to explain how to teach a disciple who is a good vessel. It is also said in the scriptures: If an elephant can carry a load that measures the standard, its strength is not equal to that of ordinary livestock. This ability is also not common. If the roar of a snow lion is emitted, its sound is not equal to that of ordinary claws. This roar is also not common. If the waves of the great ocean are seen, they are not equal to the waves of small streams. These waves are also not common. If one reaches the summit of Mount Sumeru, its height is not equal to that of ordinary small mountains. This summit is also not common. If one sees the clear and bright sun and moon, their light is not equal to that of ordinary stars. This light is also not common. If one sees a great garuda soaring in the sky, its power is not equal to that of ordinary birds. This ability is also not common. If one sees the depth of the Vajrayana, its depth is not equal to that of other vehicles. This depth is also not common. A scholar who has mastered knowledge and a person who is conceited with little learning, their benefit for sentient beings is not equal. This supreme benefit is also not common.
