Please show who is the lord of wish-fulfilling freedom. From the Dzogchen, which completely cuts off the cycle of existence, the Dharmakaya, the unborn awareness continuum, the twenty-second chapter, which teaches the disciples of merit. Thereafter, the King of All-Knowingness spoke to the fourfold assembly, for the sake of definite necessity: "Let each of you speak of your own realization." After hearing these words, the seven past Buddhas, beginning with Vairochana, each spoke of the meaning of their own realization: Awareness is the indestructible Dharmakaya, realization is inexpressible, one is convinced of oneself, unsearched, self-obtained, unchanging, abiding in flawless mindfulness, without appearance, one's own mind is clear as the Dharmakaya, one's own body is now without decay, insubstantial awareness is clear as emptiness. The seven present Buddhas, beginning with the elimination of false beliefs, also each spoke of their own realization: Self-born, all-pervading wisdom is clear, clear and non-conceptual is the present moment, inner clarity is not distracted by external objects, insubstantial clarity does not need to be meditated upon, one's own body and mind are the meaning of Dharmata, the essence is unchanging, uncreated, the body of realizing ordinary essence. The seven future Buddhas, beginning with Maitreya, also each spoke of their own realization: Knowing without grasping, wisdom is accomplished, whatever appears, there is no affirmation or negation, without before or after, without distraction, the stream of wisdom, genuine awareness, without change, the unborn realization is the body of enlightenment, inexpressible samadhi, without arising or ceasing, abide in one's own mind in the meaning of non-action. The intention of those Buddhas of the three times is all of one wisdom mind. The ten vidyadhara male and female deities, such as Vajra Unwavering, each spoke of the meaning of their own realization: Wisdom without grasping, awareness is emptiness, the thought of discrimination is without change, the view free from elaboration is without distraction, wisdom is immortal, free from hatred, whatever one's own mind does is the meaning of essence, unborn pride is the nature itself, insubstantial wisdom is in the heart, desire is unerring, the stream of wisdom, the effortless view, clear and unattached, is the practice.

Though various symbols are shown, In essence, they are undifferentiated, one nature. You have realized the Buddha's intention. From the Great Perfection, which cuts off the root of samsara, the lineage of the Dharmakaya, unborn awareness, The twenty-third chapter, which speaks of the realization of the retinue, is complete. Thus it was said, And at that time, the four assemblies also, Having realized their own minds, With joyful hearts, rejoiced, They requested the meaning from Vajrasattva, Consistent with the meaning of the spoken realization, Experiencing the fruition Buddha now, One's own mind meets with the mother. Therefore, now is Samantabhadra himself. Vajrasattva is greatly pleased. I prostrate to you, the guide. Having understood the meaning of that request, Vajrasattva spoke again, From the blessing of the Buddha's heart, All intentions are gathered in essence, The meaning of the hearts of the Buddhas of the three times, The essence of immeasurable instructions, I have explained to you, who have faith, Deeply instill this meaning in your being. The true essence, the essence of the mind, The single point of essence is manifestly brought forth, This source of the treasure of Dharma, Even those yogis who are vessels, If they show the meaning in later generations, Establish the Buddhas and Dharma protectors as witnesses, Having sworn not to spread it to others, Show the complete instructions to those who are vessels. Make offerings of the gathering to the best of your ability. If you teach the Dharma without doing so, The teacher's life will be short, and obstacles will arise. To those who steal the teachings and slander the lama, In this very life, at this very time, Various diseases and mouth-related problems will arise. Therefore, this essential heart of the instructions, For the sake of worldly fame and desire for wealth, Never spread it, keep it in your heart. Vajrasattva spoke thus. From the Great Perfection, which cuts off the root of samsara, the lineage of the Dharmakaya, unborn awareness, The twenty-fourth chapter, which is the chapter on the conduct of realization and entrusting the lineage, is complete. That which is called "The Source of the Precious Treasure" is complete. The Indian abbot Vimalamitra and the Acharya Jnana Yeshe translated, revised, and finalized it.
