English

The Supreme King of All Tantras, the Blazing Sky Tantra. In Sanskrit: Sarva Gra Rājā Kaśa Jvala Tantra. In Tibetan: The Supreme King of All Tantras, the Blazing Sky Tantra. Homage to the nameless, boundless, and non-existent Zang Ka. Thus I have heard, at a time when nothing was heard, beyond the realm of thought, speech, and intention, in a time without beginning or end. At the place of the King of Places, where boundaries are liberated. The King of Teachers, Nameless, dwells in complete liberation. The King of Teachings, profound and vast. The retinue of The holy, self-arisen, naturally pure, speaks of the liberation of perceived measure. The King of Time, in a time without beginning or end. The compiler is the secret lord, the precious one. Then the King of the Retinue, self-arisen and naturally pure, to the King of Teachers, Nameless, completely liberated, knelt down, joined his palms, and respectfully asked: Since the meaning of perfection is such, how does the nature of mind abide? How does the essence of mind become clear? How does the compassion of mind arise? What qualities does the mind possess? How does the mind perform its actions? Does this mind inherently exist or not? Is the mind Buddha or not? If so, how do sentient beings become deluded? Does the mind inherently possess substance or not? Does the mind have delusion or not? Are the minds of all sentient beings equal? Does the mind have ignorance or not? Does the mind have the five poisons and three poisons or not? Does the mind have shape and color or not? Does this mind attain Buddhahood through realization? Does mere mind-nature attain Buddhahood? Is there a difference between mind, awareness, and intellect? Is there a difference between the three: Dharmadhatu, unoriginated, and wisdom? Is there a difference between the five bodies, five wisdoms, and five afflictions? How are all phenomena liberated in the three: essence, emptiness, and awareness? How is the pith instruction for liberation explained? How are the various appearances of the mind gathered into one essential point? Where is the rope of the mind cut? Where are the borders of the mind turned back? How is mind-nature ultimately transported? What is the pith instruction for transporting it? Where is the analogy of the mind shown? When one arrives at the analogy, can one arrive or not? If one cannot arrive, then there is no need to show an analogy. Are Buddhas and sentient beings one basis or different? If one, how does two arise? If not one, are samsara and nirvana unrelated? The face of ignorance and wisdom.
