When temporary appearances bring dream-like suffering, there is nothing to use except the burden of accumulating and guarding sins. Alas, the illusion of external realms is a vessel of suffering. The clinging to reality and permanence/nihilism is the state of miserable beings. Please, compassionate and incomparable Guru, look upon us with compassion, and bless us so that external appearances arise as illusions. All who are born enter the path of death without fail. On the perilous crossroads of doubt, the Lord of Death, Yama. Dances with wrathful, hateful eyes, displaying a hideous face. Holding a murderous enemy blade, smearing it with black oil. Living beings who run about incessantly. Never think that they will die tomorrow, the day after, or even next month. They accumulate white grains in containers and then scatter them underground. They boast that next year there will be a good harvest of grain. But they do not know how long the master's life will be. When drinking grain alcohol in the autumn months, have they resolved to die? The brave man who never thinks of death. The transformation between a person and a corpse is just a breath away. Look at the separation of body and mind when a young person dies. It is said to be a frightening sight that easily arises. The young beauty with a garland of flowers on her head. When will white hair overcome youth? Do you know?
